Sounds delicious! I wait til I can plant straight in the
garden. Cherry tomatoes, beefy tomatoes, 3 types of lettuce,
bell peppers, peas, beans and good old zuccini.

This summer I will be planting on the front steps a flower pot
of fake flowers that I bought a Dollar General. It always seems
that me and Dufus the Next Door Neighbor have some sort of a
contest going on that I was not in on. He likes to copy me at
times and when I put out a flower pot in front it is copied a
week later. At least these Poinsettias won't be easy to find in
       the summer.
My flower bulbs that I have on the East wall of the house are
coming up. There is a tulip that is three inches tall and looks
as if it hung on an all-nighter with Dufus. My daffodils are
about 2 inches tall and look great.

Well I'm not doing the upside-down tomato hangers on the front
porch again this year. Last year birds nested in them. I love
birds, but they killed all my tomatoes.
Might do a few rows of tomatoes, green beans, carrots and such.
Someone has to feed the rabbits ;)

Own any dogs? If you do, take and empty your vacuum cleaner
canister around the outside of your garden...... keeps birds,
rabbits and squirrels from entering.( insert evil laughter)

I have two dogs. They like rabbits (we had one as an indoor pet)
and the wild rabbits don't seem to be afraid. I've seen them
eating clover right along the fence that keeps the dogs in ;)
It's solid woods behind my house so I get all sorts of
wildlife. Probably a losing battle without a good fence around
       the garden.

I have lots of wild rabbits here. My dog runs around the yard
eating their poop like its dry dog food.

Slightly off topic, but I used to have a fairly nice size chunk
of woods just a few short walking minutes away. However, this
past week they started building a small subdivision in a nice
piece of this. I find myself quite saddened by this. The kids
grew up in these woods and we spent a fair amount of time
tramping around out there. Damn progress. It may cut down on
the wildlife eating out of the garden, but I think I'd rather
       have the wildlife. :-[

I hate it when that happens.
