Ooops. No rum. Just didn't have the exercise routine done yet.
Foggy brain. And NO...there wasn't any other payment. I am an
upstanding, status-quo, decent girl. Surely, you must know that
by now!

Are you certain that department is/was over budget? Or were
they under budget? When they're under they'll spend themselves
up to the line, rather than chance a cut next budget.
Do you know that this employee wasn't being compensated for
unused personal time or vacation days, or one of several other
legit possibilities?

Thanks! The article answered most of my questions. Looks like
there's some crooks over in Jackson county.

It is not just in Jackson county though. Its happening in Wood,
Monroe, Marathon, Portage, Adams...etc. This is why I stress
that local elections are the most important.

Do you think there's a county that doesn't have it's share of
corruption? I've worked for three of them in two states,
haven't found one yet. Doesn't seem to matter who gets
elected, the problem persists.

The old fashioned ones with the scrub board and rollers! That
should do the trick, wouldn't you say? ;)
