No, if a company had a policy for employees, new hires could
have been put on it.
And yes, the policy couldn't change, that is the nature of
grandfathering things.
A much better thing for reform, and for the small businesses
that the Republicans say they care about, would have been to not
keep health insurance embedded in compensation with employers.
They should have just gotten rid of the discounts large
companies get from insurers, and allowed anyone to get into the
same pools that the insurers had for any large company at the
same premium price.
To require the insurers to never turn anyone away, you still
have to require everyone to have insurance. Or cryptic rules
have to be written to not cover some people for some period of
time if they did not have insurance for a period of time. But
that would defeat the purpose of trying to not let people be
uncovered for health care.

I get a kick out of the Obama Administration bragging that they
now have 6 million people in Obamacare , as that means that it
is a success and that people want to be in it.
Hitler had how many million Jewish people locked up in death
camps. Yeah they were there, but not because they wanted to be
there.
They were forced against they're will to be there.
By the way how many of those 6 million have actually bought a
policy? How many are actually insured?
How many of them didn't have insurance before Obamacare?

Yeah, and Hitler made sure some of them got "medical care" while
in the camps. You forgot to mention that.
LOL!

It will be interesting to see if Obama's death panel will be as
effective as Hitler's! ;)
That of course may be why several leading cancer centers and
children's hospitals aren't part of Obamacare.

The only thing Hitler provided for them was gas and bullets.
Why would you find what Hitler did to be humorous?
And by the way Ed.
That attachment of a ballot that Grodo/Keler posted was not the
ballot involved in the Ballotgate.
Look closely at Grodos picture. You can see that it was done on
a computer.
It's just something Grodo altered and posted.
Vurwink took a picture of his ballot while in the booth and
posted it. Maybe you can pull that crap down in Arkansas but it
is illegal up here in Wisconsin.

My mistake.
I thought he did it in the booth.
And thanks for informing me of that.

ballot....sorry.
