health care expenses out of pocket. I don't see how that is
going to increase the number of medical bankruptcies that had
bee occurring prior to the PPACA.

Once the out of pocket is reached, they send the patient home

If a businessman did what Obama and the Democrats did {
Obamacare} he would be in prison for fraud.

Remind me again, how many millions were killed in Iraq? Right
now we know close to 7 million have lost their insurance. The
number we'll never see or that will be made public is the amount
of people who ended up dying due to their provider or treatment
they were receiving being stopped due to insurance or provider
changes. Or those who no longer can afford the higher insurance
and or deductibles and suffer adverse consequences.

Is the liability insurance you are required to have on your car
make you over insured?
What is in the insurance policies now or health insurance is a
subjective judgement by the government. The PPACA really did
nothing to change how providers do health care, it is mostly
regulation of health care insurance. The law said nothing about
what doctors anyone can or cannot use. If you do like your
doctor, you can keep him. If you insurance company changes
things up on you, then you might have to pay out of network
costs, but that would because of the insurance company, not the
law.
That you feel policies will now over insure everyone could be
discussed. What should be covered does not invalidate the
concept of the law.
One of the reasons everyone gets the same coverage, is that
reduces, significantly, the administration doctors will have to
do. It was reported that up to 40% of the operation of a
doctor's office was spent in administrative duties related to
all the different insurance policies people had. With all
policies covering the same things, there won't have to be nearly
that much paperwork for doctors.
Is that not a good thing? Yes, a 60 year old woman may have
part of her premiums going to pay for a 25 year old's maternity
care, but the 25 year old may also be paying part of her
premiums towards the menopausal care of the 60 year old. Having
coverage for something that you will not use will add nothing to
the premiums paid by all.

Again with the "car" insurance analogy? How many times do you
need to be told that driving a car is not a right let alone an
obligation? If you can't afford car insurance WALK! Ask Bike
racer!

The part requiring people that can (and want to) afford cars to
have car liability insurance is exactly the same thing as
requiring people that can (and want to) have health to have
health care insurance.

Your comment is more important to the case against keeping
health care insurance in the private insurance market, as you
point out you can choose to have or not have a car. You cannot
choose to not have health that may need care.
Are you also trying to say that having health care is a right,
as you distinguish it from the privilege of owning a car?

No, it's not. If you don't want to buy car insurance you don't
own a car, or you don't drive it on public roads. A simple
concept. One you don't seem to be able to understand despite it
being clearly explained to you several times in the past. If
you breathe you must be insured. That's the law There is no
option. Driving on public roads is a privilege, living isn't.
People are required to have health insurance, whether they can
afford it or not or they are in violation of the law. You make
it sound like there is a choice. I'm not sure how many times
you need to have this minor detail called to your attention. It
really doesn't seem to do any good as you appear incapable of
grasping the obvious.

Yes, it is the same.
If you don't want to buy health care insurance, don't have any
health that needs care, or don't have any health off of your
private property! It is a simple concept!
I understand it perfectly well, thank you!
You guys explain it, but it is always the same, you all miss the
point you have to have the insurance if you have the thing. The
point you keep making, and seem to not understand it yourself,
is that having a care is a choice and having health is not.
What I don't understand when you guys try to make this point is
how does something being a choice or not have any affect on
whether you have it or not?
;D
Yes, owning a car and driving on public roadways is a choice.
But if you make that choice you have a car that requires
insurance.
Yes, you have no choice to have health, if you are alive, so you
have it and now the law requires you have insurance.
Sure does sound like the same thing to me.
