Where is the conservative?
[/quote]
Putin is currently the defender of Christian faith, with
American conservatives suggesting other countries should emulate
his stance on gays.

Abortion and premarital sex are against Russian law, there's a
flat tax and no budget deficit, even women are "sick of
feminism"..... what's not for a Conservative to like?

I dunno, I heard of some not so conservative black American
preachers today upset with Holder and the Obama administration
for comparing the LGBT movement to the civil right movement
today. Even more are upset that Holder is trying to convince
the state AG's not to prosecute violations of certain laws in
their home state.
I don't know, if an attorney gets caught not following some
laws, they can be disbarred. Seems to me what was suggested
today borders on illegal activity. Some AG's feel that way as
well.

I don't blame them, the persecution faced by gays doesn't hold a
candle to that faced historically by blacks. I don't recall
Gays being removed from their home country and sold as property.
Not that I disagree that Gays should have the same rights as
heteros, including some form of "marriage", even if not called
exactly that.
Agreed on selective enforcement. If you don't like a law,
change it. Until that's done it is still the law. AG's
shouldn't be picking and choosing.

When did abortion become against Russian law? Far as I know
abortion is free at State run clinics and the woman gets paid
days of sick leave to recover.

Ah, you are correct. Putin banned all *advertising* for
abortion and imposed restrictions limiting them to the first 12
weeks.

Two airports taken over by armed militants. Their president is
in Russia speaking out and it remains all the wests fault.

Now we have over 2,000 Russian troops in Russia. President
Obama says "there will be costs". The word "consequences" has
been changed to "costs". I'm pretty sure it probably means the
same thing. Nothing.
I find myself asking, How's that reset working out for ya?

Isn't it always?
Remember during Reagan's term, Network TV did a week-long
special on "the homeless"? Russian TV carried it thinking it'd
embarrass Reagan and the country.
That backfired when the Russians who watched it wondered why, if
America is so bad, do even the poorest Americans own a car, two
or three TV's and have enough food to be fat?

Oh how I find this entertaining. Looks as though Palin has more
smarts than obama when it comes right down to it.

Remember back to the debates when Romney was ridiculed by Obama
and the press for saying Russia was the biggest geopolitical
enemy of the US?
