this is the one--bought it used from a bbq friend in Prairie du
Sac that was getting bigger cookers--worked fine, liked the
smoke adjustment button when pans of potatoes, bread and apple
cake went on to bake--will have to practice cooking meat on just
the smoke setting to get a better level of smoke flavour
Now its time to start getting different brands & varieties of
pellets to experiment with when cooking. This smoker has the
ability to empty the firepot without taking out the
       grills--seems handy

nothing beats lump for direct grilling(probably 200# in garage),
think of this of more a 'smoke oven' that burns 100% pure
hardwood with great temp control---from about 160° to
500°---with the capacity for a couple pork butts, a nice size
brisket and maybe some yardbird too--just another way to cook
       outside(six different ones here)

Well Im just an amateur and these kind of contraptions are
beyond my scope. I know whats I know and it works so I don't
mess with it. Maybe when we have that Meet and great you could
make it a meat and greet? ;D

My GMG cleans the firepot as well. The fans runs for a couple
minutes after turning it off and this works quite nicely. Check
out cookingpellets.com. They have some of the finest pellets
I've ever bought with their trademark brand being the best. To
each their own however. Have fun playing with your new toy!

Do you have a local source(in central Wisc) for those
pellets--all reports of those pellets are pretty good but
cutting freight costs is always good!!
