Son's wedding ceremony went off beautifully. Am taking a little
break now and letting the dogs out before heading to the
reception.
And thank you everyone for your thoughts earlier.

Here we go again! Polar Vortex round Two! We thought this all
over two weeks ago. Now we get word we are in for the winter
storm of a generation. So who has it worse, us northerners, who
can claim at Black River Falls at 33 below zero as the coldest
spot in the nation? Or the south, with measurable snowfall and
freezing temps in cities such as New Orleans, Greensboro and
Atlanta.
Trollslayer, if this keeps up we are going to need a frozen
smiley face icon!

I don't know how cold it was last night but it must of got
pretty cold. I was in Stevens Point today and I stopped at The
Store to pick up a gallon of two percent and there was not any.
I was told that it got so cold that it froze on the truck and
had to be sent back. So I headed to Rapids and I stopped at the
gas station by the Armory and found out that there wasn't any
two percent gallons there either. Does anyone know how cold it
got last night?

When I got up this morning I had -22 in Weston. I drove to
Rapids and my phone told me that it was still -19 (in Rapids, my
gps changes my location and temp automatically) when I arrived
down there at 8am. Wind chill was listed at -35.

Wednesday it is suppose to hit close to 32 degrees.
Then starting next Wednesday the highs are suppose to be above
freezing. Calling for all 30's.
Lows at night high teens and twenties. I hope it's the turning
point for the rest of the season.
Have to wait and see.....but it sure sounds great.

I miss my bike. It's been months since I've been on it. I have
one I ride in the winter but the roads have been too dangerous
and it never has warmed up enough to ride.

as one who usually adjusts rather than complains it really does
seem like mother nature is trying to show us who is boss---going
south towards the end of next week--weather will probably change
then!!

Since everyone knows I am a little odd (LOL) it probably would
not be a surprise to say that I LUV the cold weather. I think I
am the only person I know who is enjoying it. I HATE hot weather
and anyone who has ever worked in a factory can relate to that.
