I've lost a few pounds as well on the treadmill and elliptical.
That's great for me at this time of year. I was listening to
two PT's on TV today and they said that exercise is no
substitute for a proper diet. I was a little disappointed when
I heard that but then figured screw em. It's working for me!!

Miles and miles of running this month have made it possible for
me to eat as much as I wanted and not put on any weight. Yes it
       was worth the effort.

       Great!
I do need to get back to my routine.

all this exercise talk almost made me reconsider posting pics of
the last couple big pcs of meat that got cooked here
One is a porchetta made from a pork belly--it was amazingly
unctuous!! The other is a leg f lamb that I found in the half
price bin at copps--deboned it, seasoned and rolled---tonight
will be the 5th(and last) meal from that roast and it is as good
in a shepards pie as it was fresh roasted
well here are pics of the lamb--seems the porchetta is 60kb too
big--maybe will resize later or not

It looks good enough to eat. Nice and juicy. The only thing
       missing is the smoke ring.

Today, I thought I'd check into the meat selection at Quik Trip.
I'm not sure if anyone has done this yet. I grabbed a boneless
sirloin steak. It was cut thicker than what I normally see in
the store and looked to be a good quality. The looks weren't
deceiving. The meat selection at Quik Trip is very small, but
the quality was great. Grilled it and it was quite tender and
tasty. I strongly suggest checking it out if you have a
hankering for a steak at the last minute.
