       Banks

One thing I hate and that is trickery. Especially financial
trickery. I consider myself an honest person and I want to be
       treated that way in return.
I moved from a credit union to a bank a year or two ago. I had
stated the reason at one point on here someplace that I had
trouble with the credit union wanting to give me a copy of a
credit card statement a year and a half prior. Rapids60 told me
they go back two years or the last charge. I reported their
foolishness to the state and moved to a bank.
When I opened my account at the bank I told them that I use
money orders instead of checks. I was told that money orders
there were 3 bucks. So I decided to purchase them when I took my
       weekly trip to Wal Mart.
When I went to the drive up today there was a new teller at the
bank and I said that I needed cash to go to Wal Mart today for
money orders and she mentioned about the cost of their money
orders being a dollar. I wanted to know what changed that I was
told that they are 3 bucks and she said "No that is what we
       charge the young people."
Now either the old bag that I opened up the account with thinks
I am young and I should be flattered (No I am not young, but I
do keep myself up well.) or I should be disgusted because of the
trickery they are pulling on young people.
       wth

Maybe they charge $3 to those that aren't customers which may be
"kids". Maybe you should just be happy with being flattered ;D

Banks are required to provide a list of fees they charge, Money
orders should be in there. I"m curious what is says now.
Kwik Trip has them for 0.75 BTW. I don't use checks either, but
I have one bill yet that only accepts checks for payment, so I
buy one a month. I hope they move into the current century one
       day soon. :)
