Obama at it again
By: trollslayer Date: October 2, 2015, 7:23 am

Politicizing the deaths of college students. We don't know the
details of the shooter or the shooting yet but he's already
calling for more gun control. Shouldn't we get the whole story
first? Then, I again have to ask, what kind of gun laws, what
kind of "gun control" could or would have kept this latest
shooting from happening? Then my final question is why now?
Twice as many people were killed in Obama's hometown Chicago
last weekend alone, and they have some of the strictest gun laws
in the country? Why does he not comment on that?

If he wants to politicize this school shooting, I can help him
along. obama is driving everyone crazy and for those that are
already there, he is driving them over the edge to the point of
doing this type of terrorism. So white house occupier; QUIT
pussifying America and QUIT with the gun grab attempts! Until
such time, the blame rests squarely on your shoulders.

This shooter, like so many others, bought his weapons legally
and passed the background checks. In fact Oregon recently
tightened it's firearms laws.
Here's what they are really after: Confiscation.
Basically what they've done in Australia...the country they
keep pointing to as an example of "what can be done".
It's an incremental approach, when their "reasonable
restrictions" do not work, they add more...and more...until the
frog in the pot is boiling.

Because it points out the complete failure of the agenda he's
pushing.
Why, one might ask, do large cities like Dallas have half the
murder rate of Chicago?
Because it's a safe bet the Texan you are about to attack is
armed. Unlike Chicago where the government has disarmed
everyone for the criminals' convenience.
Incidentally, Chicago made their own problems worse.
A few years back they started knocking down a lot of public
housing "the projects". The residents were given vouchers to
move elsewhere in the city.
That resulted in gang members moving into territory controlled
by other gangs...and the violence went from being contained in
certain parts of town to basically...everywhere.

Great points Rapids. I do give Obama credit for one thing. At
least he showed a little emotion, a little passion. Pretty much
up until this point his speeches have been much like the teacher
in Ferris Beuller.

Friday, Obama is reportedly going to do a press conference from
Roseburg, Oregon.
Problem is, it's a very conservative town that favors gun rights
and they are offended at his calls for gun control on the back
of their recent tragedy.
The Mayor has asked him to not come.

He is the almighty Obama. He'll do what he wants to do. There
have been others that don't want him there as well. He'll still
find enough props to gather together so he can give an antigun
speech.
On a somewhat related story Ben Carson was asked what he would
do if confronted by a hooter under the same circumstances. The
MSM took about one sentence from his answer and ran with it. I
thought his answer was great.

MSM barely covered Obama's visit to Oregon as they couldn't do
it without showing the half-block long "Obama Go Home" signs,
lol.
AP estimated the protesters at 50-100. The local Sheriff's
department says it was about 3,000.
Some things never change.

You did? I'm not a fan of victim-blaming, which is what Carson
did in a backhanded manner.
Nobody in the school thought of overpowering the shooter? He
thinks they are all that stupid? Likely it just wasn't
possible for whatever reason.
Sure, Ideally we'd all rush the guy and disarm him. The reason
that didn't happen nobody knows, Carson included.
Hey, 9/11 wouldn't have happened had I been flying that day. I'd
have suckerpunched the hijackers as soon as I saw the boxcutter.
;) See how smart I am?
As I've said before, it's easy to Quarterback a game that's
already ended. It's even easier if you aren't the actual QB,
thus not responsible for your results.

I see you just agreed with Carson as well, albeit a backhanded
manner.

This did happen on 911, on flight 93. Carson is guilty of
simply answering a question. He wasn't second guessing or
criticizing or anything else, simply answering a question. Even
you agree with him.
