Carson: No Muslim for president

How can you not laugh at the liberal media, frothing at the
mouth and manufacturing outrage for Carson's comments. Many are
quick to comment that Carson's views violate the Constitution,
while at the same time ignoring the fact that Carson has a
Constitutional right to voice such comments.

It isn't just the liberal media. Your former Republican
standard-bearer Mitt Romney called him out on suggesting a
"religious test" for the Whitehouse and said it would violate
the constitution. (as it would)
That is different than Carson's individual right to voice such
an opinion, which is protected by the very same 1st amendment.
He can say it, but he cannot, as president, do it.

" I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this
nation. I absolutely would not agree with that"
He only gave his opinion that he would not agree with doing it.
Not that it can't be done.
He later said that his concern was with a Muslim who would
support Shari Law.

As president, how could he keep a Muslim from being president?

See above question. As president, how could a Muslim implement
Sharia law?
Gosh, back we go to the Kennedy years, when some folks wouldn't
vote for him because they were afraid he'd force Catholic
doctrine on the country. ;)

See above question. As president, how could a Muslim implement
Sharia law?
Not so much about implementing. But not enforcing our existing
laws that are against many things that are part of Sharia
Law.{Phedophilla ,marriage of girls as young as 9 years old.
Chopping off limbs for theft. Killing people for leaving the
Muslim religion}
We now have a President that refuses to enforce our existing
laws pertaining to illegal aliens.

And a congress that does nothing about it because they quietly
agree.
Carson is just playing to the Islamophobes, the chances of a
president being elected who is openly supportive of Sharia is
about 0.000% Probably less with female voters, lol.

How did this religion ever catch on? It's like a fast-food
joint that serves Antifreeze in the soda machines. After a
while you'd think membership would dwindle?

Good question. But to see the way this president has
implemented unpopular laws, I don't put anything out of the
realm of possibility.
