It's none of anyone else's business whether someone has it "cut
off" or not.

If you're requesting to share a locker room with one gender or
the other it sure is your business.

That's not the question I responded to. but I have to ask you,
would you want to share a locker room with a transgender female
with a pen1s?
What I responded to was you indeed have a right to know one way
or the other if this person is asking to share the same locker
room with you A transgender is just that, not a male, not a
female but a transgender.
Another example. A man taking hormones and has breasts and a
pen1s will be put into a mens prison, not a womens prison.

Right. It isn't the sort of thing everyone votes on.
But that does not mean you can bring your male parts into a
female locker room just because you are comfortable with it.
The others may not be.

On that I agree. Everyone should be comfortable with the
situation. If a non-gender specific room was made available,
this girl should use it.

First off, Snicks, I never said it was OK. My opinion is she
should have used the transgender bathroom
We aren't talking about 6 year olds, with bows in their hair.
These are high school students, who are sophisticated enough to
understand a transgender person. However, if they are
uncomfortable, their feelings should be considered.
There's a big difference here. This person identifies as a
female, and probably always has. She has no more attraction to
females than any other girl.

Sorry Linda. I meant to attach that post of mine to 12cows.
{That user name remind me of one a Native American could have}
And I completely missed the part where that student already had
a gender neutral locker room available.
So these girls if they aren't comfortable with this a just $hit
out of luck. { What other option do they have? The boys locker
room?} This person believes he /she has more rights then they
do?

That's the problem, this person isn't a girl. They're
transgender.

Kids are much more open and accepting than their parents.

Well now, that is a very subjective definition of terms. I could
go off in a tangent of examples of contradictions to that
statement (just about anything with the word self-esteem would
do) but let's focus on the one ought to be self evident. The
entire premise of TRANSGENDER in any case is by definition a
person that can not tolerate oneself.

That is an interesting way to look at it.
