Guns guns guns....
By: Linda Lou Date: August 2, 2015, 6:15 pm

I'm going to do a complete 180.
I've always thought having handguns in a home was a recipe for
troubles.
Until this weekend.
We were camping. About 8:30 I got a message from a neighbor,
asking me to call one of the other neighbors. It seems some POS
was casing out my back yard. One of the neighbors walked over
and asked what he was doing, and another neighbor identified the
POS and called the police...seems this jerk has been in a lot of
trouble. This neighbor was also nice enough to come over and
check that the POS never got into the house.
He never got in, but I felt totally...violated. And angry. If he
hadn't been stopped, he probably would have broken in.
Well, I plan on buying a handgun. This won't happen again...not
to us. So if any of you know J... J..., (message me if you are
interested in his name) you might want to tell that little f_
_ker that he comes on my property again he's in for a nasty
surprise.

What good would a hand gun do to protect your home when you are
away camping? Guns do not fire with out someone squeezing the
trigger. ;D
Do yourself a favor if you are going to get a hand gun, get your
conceal as well. I know a gentleman that will help train you on
gun safety and he would gladly help you out.

Just a reminder that he has to be state approved if you want the
training to apply towards permit requirements.
Oddly enough, I don't worry much about someone breaking in while
I'm gone. If they get past the dogs, I can replace most anything
they take. Just shut the damned door, I'm not air conditioning
the whole neighborhood. (thanks dad, lol)
It's an in-person confrontation that can get ugly.

John Jacob Jinglehimmer Schmidt?
Sometimes people don't care what happens until something happens
to them. With that said you are telling us you would actually
have the guts to kill someone?
Not me. I would start screaming and throwing things and get shot
in the process I am sure. I would never be able to take
someone's life over something so stupid as someone removing
objects.
If someone would be so foolish as to light a fire in my home
though you will see a madwoman appear. Maybe then I would
accidentally kill someone.

I never had anything stole out of my house except of all
things-screws!
I had a plumber at my house years ago. I noticed shortly after
that my large kitchen light switch plate that was supposed to
have 8 screws had 3 holding the plate on.
I was peed off and amused at the same time how someone finagled
a screw out of me.

I would give them a warning and then if that didn't stop them
I'd shoot them in a leg first if possible. After that it's them
or me. And I not going to let it be me. I would deal with the
mental anguish later. I will work through that rather then put
my loved ones through morning.
I have had things a few things stolen and vandalized years ago.
But none of that is worth taking a life.
Would I have beaten those responsible if I had caught them in
the act. Yes I would have. A good a$$ kicking goes a long way.

Police reports from Saturday:
At 7:18 p.m. Friday, a male caller said another man was trying
to bust out the caller’s vehicle window near Goodnow Avenue and
Lincoln Street.
At 8:36 p.m. Friday, an anonymous caller reported a male who was
in a neighbor’s yard near Lincoln Street and Pepper Avenue. The
caller said the man should not be there. The suspect was taken
into custody.
As these are two blocks apart, I suspect it was the same guy.
The guy at MY house (the second report) is named?..

It would be a tough decision to make--especially if someone is
advancing towards you in the dark of a hallway in your
house---is being a victim the right choice?? Hopefully will
never have to make that choice------------------
