       Heads up. I know through "The Gr@pevine" ( :P ) that a member of
       the forums has a grandchild that is half black so maybe we could
       take that into consideration as we post on this topic. Thanks.

       It shouldn't matter if a member has a child that is half black
       or not.  If you can't say it know ing that you shouldn't ay it
       at all.
       Anyway, speaking of the flag.  I found this Red Skelton clip and
       thought it said a lot.   Too bad you'd never find such sentiment
       on TV today.

       Well we have 3 all-american "mixed race" grandkids--the oldest
       is already encountering problems but most of them are due to
       lack of family structure vs shade of skin!  The boys should fare
       better with a dad in the house--time will tell!   What is said
       anywhere really doesn't bother me(or mine)----my skin is pretty
       thick these days  ;)

       We have 4 nieces and nephews that are half and half, all adult
       age now.  Pretty much the same skin thickness and opinions are
       just that.  I don't think anyone here has issues with races in
       general, just with certain behaviors (and those behaviors are
       not restricted to just one group,m depending on the situation)
