If you have to stoop to ijreview to find the story, I don't
think it indicates a trend.

I can not remember who was the fist person that said that
Political Correctness is Contradiction in Terms but he sure
seems vindicated. Whether not you take THIS story seriously you
can not deny trend of anti Confederate Flag absurdity going
around. Examples are just too many to list but that stands out
is a movement to DESTROY STONE MOUNTAIN. This one stands out
because the story of how this monument who built, or how it
almost wasn't, is almost as important as the actual purpose of
its construction.
The original sculpture planned for that mountain was a man whose
name will short circuit spell check. You would find out when you
find out the name of the project he left Stone Mountain for,
MOUNT RUSHMORE. In all probability Mount Rushmore might not have
the four faces carved into stone the way it is had there not
been a plan to build a Confederate memorial competing with it.

WalMart also edits CD cover art and refuses to sell any music
that might be "offensive", lol. Hardly big news for them to
pull things from the shelves for that reason.
I've told them that I find "Made in China" offensive. They
don't seem to care. :D

I guess they never listened to any of the words in those
gangster rap or other CDs by black singers. Talk about
offensive.
But in America ONLY black people's feelings matter.

I do strongly agree with the title of this thread though, the
same people who want to ban the flag, get rid of manger scenes,
force people to provide services against their will and the
like, are the same people who feel their immoral lifestyle
should be recognized, unconditionally. Yes I said immoral,
that's my opinion and I'm still sticking to it despite it not
being PC. OTOH, I'm not calling for their lifestyle to be
banned like they are calling for things they disagree with.
Just don't try to push your views on me. You have a right to
live how you want to live, just don't expect my blessing.
Which brings me to the wedding topic. Marriage is between a man
and a woman, always has been. If you wish to marry within your
own sex, it's not a wedding, call it a homo sapien union or
whatever you wish. But it's not a marriage. No matter what you
want to call it you should still have the same rights and
privileges, (and penalties in the tax code) that everyone else
has. While this may offend some I still have the right to say
it, well today anyway.

True. But it hasn't always been ONE man and ONE woman!
The predominant arrangement of human unions in ancient Israelite
and other near-Eastern and Mediterranean cultures was Polygamy.
Also (except for Church elders) multiple wives were approved in
both the old and new Testament.

I don't believe I used the word ONE in my posting. But on that
note, I also consider the practice of polygamy immoral as well.
