This shouldn't come as any surprise and I think it's just
scratching the surface of things to come. I wouldn't be
surprised to see a petition to change Rushmore to have a
likeness of BHO added, putting Hillary on the $10 bill etc.

South Carolina is now banning the sale of Tylenol and other OTC
medications that use cotton in their bottles for fear of
perpetuating slavery by making people pick it out.

I doubt it. The 24 hour news cycle will move on and aside from a
few Confederate flags being put away, little will change.

More and more civil war memorials are being vandalized every
day. Because someone's feelings may be hurt or they my be
offended by something does not give them the right to commit
crimes.
These people always go out of bounds and over the line. No
matter what they may perceive the cause to be.
They should start planting game cameras near these memorials and
then prosecute the vandals to the fullest extent of the law.
