need to reach out to those in the Muslim community. That's
great. That may or may not keep the handful that have gone over
to fight with ISIS home. The real answer I was looking for that
wasn't addressed in his speech at all is, what are we going to
do about the tens of thousands that want to see us dead? What's
the plan? Really, I don't think there is one after Holder came
out and aid we weren't at war, which is really kinda true.
Dropping a half dozen bombs a day really doesn't constitute a
war.

Speaking of a lack legitimacy, how does one hold a summit on
worldwide "extremism" without inviting a single world leader?

I don't believe that Obama is clueless.
I think he knows exactly what he is doing.
When history is finaly written. It will reveal what an evil SOB
he really is.

We are depending on a whole lot of Muslims to fight for our
cause over there. From the Iraqi forces to the Kurds, the
Turks, even the westernized Jordanians are 95% muslim.
What benefits us about declaring war against Islam, when those
helping us fight it are Islamic?

I never said we should declare war on Islam. This is yet
another straw man argument of the Presidents. Nobody has said
we should declare war on Islam. Nobody has been calling for it.
We need to declare war on Muslim extremists, the very same
Muslim extremists that have declared war on us. To pretend it
doesn't exists does nothing to de-legitimize any one or any
cause. Pretending it doesn't exist does nothing. Even Muslims
are calling it what it is. We seem to be the only country
incapable of doing it.

No one is calling for a war on Islam. Just Islamic extremists
and terrorists.
Even the Muslims over there call them that.
Why is that Obama refuses to use any word in describing those
terrorists?
But he has repeatedly attacked Christens by name.
He tries to compare what took place 900 years ago with what is
taking place now.
He goes out of his way to make excuses for those murdering
terrorists. Yesterday he claimed that they had "genuine
grievances" WTF
How can our elected Representatives and our military allow that
mad man to sit in the Whitehouse?

Excellent! I couldn't have said it better myself. Obama OTOH
calls this "exercising strategic patience".

Ah, yes, the "elected representatives". Speaking of them....
is anyone else irritated with congress for not approving an
authorization of war against ISIL?
You know, the ones who call Obama the "imperial president",
then when asked to do their jobs- they stand back, do nothing
and criticize him for not doing enough on his own?
Both Dems and R's are standing around their their thumbs up
their bums hoping Obama has to own the entire situation.
Elections coming up you know.
