Ok, let's compare just over Obama's terms in the WH. We already
know Obama's record. Moving on to Boehner, his big
accomplishments are___________________________________?
(if you need more space go ahead and....ah nevermind, you won't.
"Presided over the most dysfunctional house in US history"
fits in there just fine)
Meanwhile, change House to Congress and you can say the same
about Obama. Why stop midway to the top? You act as if
Democratic obstructionism has nothing to do with your claim.
You do know what the term "presided" means don't you.
to occupy the place of authority : act as president,
chairman, or moderator
It seems he's only doing his job half a$$ed. While he occupies
the place of authority we need to get him to at least act as a
president.

Yep, you're right. Boehner has been the most effective speaker
of the house in our lifetimes.
Or would be if it weren't for those meanie democrats. Bwhahaha

Let me fill in your blank. Boehner, as House Leader has sent
over more than 350 bills passed in the House over to the Senate
to debate (Many receiving bipartisan votes) only to die on Harry
Reid's desk. Maybe you can tell me how this is Boehner's fault
again. You seem to forget, he is only one leader out of three.
A convenient omission by you I'm sure.

Thank you that means very much. :)
All day long I worried about being taken to task not giving
proper warning of the amount of foul language in that first
segment alone. :-[ I somehow doubt I will be sending anymore

you the banana slicer "mock" infomercial? Or, if you don't feel

The Senate has sent over 300 bills to the House only to watch
them die on Boehner's desk. See how that works? :D
I said Obama and Boehner were terrible leaders as those were
the two YOU mentioned in post #10. I omitted nothing, I was
simply replying to your post.
Oh BTW, having hundreds of bills die in the Senate is nothing
unique to Obama or Reid.

Congress completed its work.
Other than the 110's th and 111'th, the number of House bills
unadressed by the Senate has remained constant at about 300
clear back to the 94th congress in 1977.

In my post, I asked which one was being more petty, Boehner for
inviting Bibi or Obama for not meeting with him while he's here.
Nothing about which leader was worse.
Obama has said that he doesn't want to meet with him for fear of
altering the election yet thinks nothing of having his staffers
work against Netenyau in the Israeli election.
A consulting firm almost entirely composed of former
staffers of President Obama’s re-election campaign has been
hired to run an election effort in Israel aimed at defeating
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The conservative blogosphere is reporting Jeremy Bird, national
field director for Obama’s 2012 campaign, is now working for a
new non-profit group, V15, that is running an effort to defeat
Netanyahu in the upcoming election.
A closer look at Bird’s consulting firm as well as its working
relationship with the Israeli groups finds he is just one of
scores of former senior Obama election campaign staffers now
working on the anti-Netanyahu effort.
This of course is a coincidence I'm sure! ;)

You simply asked what Boehner has done and I've told you. What
other Congress's have done is irrelevant to the question you
asked. But then again you're under the misconception that the
Republicans in the House should have somehow fixed the economy
by now, without the Senate or the White House.
You also fail to mention that Obama himself has cited the great
obstructionism tactics used by Reid in the Senate.

So the answer is "nothing" other than pass bills that Congress
ignores, a problem previous speakers also faced but still
managed to get things done.
That makes Boehner as useless a leader as Obama. Which was my
original point.

Meeting with Netenyahu would indicate Obama's approval,
possibly altering the election in Netenyahu's favor. Not
meeting with him works against him, same as his staffers are
doing. How is that inconsistent?
