Interesting, some Imam's in France, (they killed French
citizens) some from the US, The Pope. Where is the outcry from
the Middle East? The breeding grounds for these savages. All
these articles you've posted yet not one of them has any mention
of any outcry from Yemen, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan,
Syria. Do you see my point yet? This is why the speech from
the Egyptian president has made news. When I see this, then it
will be enough. OTOH, I won't be holding my breath waiting
either. I think I have a better chance of hearing Obama say the
words "Muslim extremist".

Plenty of Muslims have spoken out against those who are
perverting their religion. You won't see them on Fox news,
doesn't fit the agenda. For that matter you don't see them
getting much publicity at all- anywhere. Not that they aren't
trying.
Reference your own article "...In a bold but little reported
speech...".
Why do you suppose that is, that Muslims who speak out get very
little press?
I guess you weren't watching the FACTOR this week. Bill had a
least 3 Muslims trying to make that point. In my opinion only
one really was able to. The rest seemed to be saying, "don't
blame US." My humble opinion take it for what it is worth.

I see how this works.
First you say nobody spoke up. So I point out some who did.
Then you say the links I provided were too old, so I post ones
from the most current attack.
And you complain they're from North America, so I post some from
other countries.
Now you say they're not from specific middle eastern countries.
Too funny, TS. How long do you want to keep this Texas Two-step
going?

As long as you want to do the dance But if you wish to quote
me, please quote me correctly. I didn't say "nobody spoke up".
My initial post was, the post you replied to,
There is nobody prominent coming out against this extreme
view.
I did quote what the Egyptian president had to say. He is
notable, You came out with what The Pope had to say. Aside
from that, I'm still waiting. Before brushing off the too old
link. It was from 2005 and not relevant to the current
discussion. You try to brush off the Middle East comment while
ignoring the fact that it is indeed factual.
These killings and beheadings will continue until they are
stopped from within. Right now that just isn't happening.
Change occurs from within.

On a related note, what ever happened to this campaign? Last I
heard some of the kidnapped girls were now suicide bombers. How
quickly they forget.

1) I don't agree with what you say but I defend your right to
say it.
2) If journalism means anything at all, it means having the
right to say that which is unpopular to hear. Everything else is
just public relations.
These two comments seem (to me, at least) to be essential for
free speech to exist.
Now the unpopular, Bill Maher and the Westboro Baptist Church. I
feel dirty just for just typing that last sentence, but I must
persevere. Remember back when Bill was still doing PIC and got
fired for his "Coward" comments 13 years ago? Well, you make the
argument that it has been a downhill slide ever since. Now he
has really stepped in it with his "With this many bad apples you
have to think there is something wrong with orchard" comment. It
sort of flies in the face of the new media narrative of "the
problem with Islamic Terrorists is not Islam, it is
'conservative' Muslims that cause all its problems." All of
which leads back to Westboro. I have noticed quite a number of
references have been made to these people over past few weeks. I
am not here to defend anything they said, if they want to they
can do that themselves. Instead, I would like to make reference
to what they are NOT saying. Acts of violence! Can anyone show
one instance of these people calling for people to commit them?
