       Another MO shooting

Protestors are out in full force once again as another black
teen has been shot and killed. Early reports say he was armed
and pointed his gun at police. I don't get it. You point a gun
at cops you get shot and protestors somehow think you shouldn't?
Another by product of Rev Al's scorched earth policy.

       >
       > Police said the man who was killed had pointed a handgun at an
officer who was conducting a "routine business check" and had
approached two men outside the gas station after 11 p.m. (0500
GMT) in the suburb of Berkeley.
       >
       > "Fearing for his life, the Berkeley Officer fired several
shots, striking the subject, fatally wounding him," St. Louis
County Police Department spokesman Brian Schellman said in a
statement. The second man fled the scene.
       >
       > The St. Louis Post-Dispatch named the dead man as 18-year-old
Antonio Martin, citing his mother, who said he was with his
girlfriend around the time of the shooting.
       >
       > "They won't tell me nothing. His girlfriend told me that the
police was messing with him," the man's mother, Toni Martin,
told a local broadcaster. "When he was trying to get up and run,
       they start shooting."

       > St. Louis County police recovered the deceased's man's handgun
at the scene. The did not confirm his identity.

       Dang it!
I wish they would have their cameras on! That would eliminate
any doubt as to what happened, and we wouldn't be reading about
       bricks thrown again!!!

The punk pulled a pistol on the officer. What choice did the
       officer have?
So crowd shows up and starts throwing bombs and bricks. The
blacks are starting a race war.

Once again, there are two stories. Chances are the kid DID pull
a gun on the cop. But as long as there's no recording of it,
it's "he said..he said" all over again.
He sounds like a real Barney Fife. He fired 3 shots while
tripping backwards. One hit the guy. One hit a tire.

There was surveillance video from the gas station that shows
what happened. Even still, you have to ask yourself, why is a
17 year old carrying a 9mm with the serial number filed off.
Why should bricks be thrown in the first place? Why are
protestors throwing fireworks at gas pumps. With that type of
behavior it's no wonder people are getting shot.

       It's bad behavior, for sure.
Yes, the gas station video. But if the officer had both a dash
cam and a body cam, why were they both off? I'm not saying it
was for nefarious reasons...I'm saying if they have them they
       should USE them.

If someone pulled a gun on me I would try to back away as quick
as I could. And that's how he tripped.
And one out of three isn't bad in situation like that.
The good news is the punk is dead and the cop is alive. And not
       the other way around.

He wasn't wearing the body cam, reasons unknown and I'm sure
this will cost him in the long run. If you have the technology
you should be using it. Dash cam's more often than not have to
be activated and aren't running the entire shift.

From what I hear on the news. The camera was handed to him half
way through the shift and he didn't have time to put it on when
       that call came in.
The store video shows the punk pulling the gun on him.
It is all there for everyone to see. But that doesn't matter to
the animals that like to throw bricks, bombs, loot and burn.

I heard an interview with a protestor. She asked how long are
"black babies" going to be killed? The answer to that is pretty
simple. As long as "black babies" (or white or yellow or any
other color for that matter) keep pointing guns at cops, no
matter what their color as well, this is going to happen.
