Good God the Zimmerman case again?
Martin would still be alive if he didn't attack Zimmerman. No
assassination there.
Brown would still be alive if he didn't attack Wilson. No
assassination there.
Garner would still be alive today if he wasn't breaking the law
and resisting arrest. No assassination there.
In the two cases that involve law enforcement there isn't a
grain of evidence that they were racially motivated.
In the Trayvon Martin killing, the 2 and 1/2 year investigation
by DOJ continues. To date no evidence that his civil rights
have been violated. I'm willing to be that there will be no
charges.
What these Race baiters don't understand is there is more black
on black violence that occurs every day but is overlooked.
There are more police shootings that occur in Chicago but for
some reason these are all overlooked.

TS I will say this , if the Feds have any proof that either the
shooting of Brown or the death of Garner were racially motivated
and they do not take it to a Grand Jury. Then Obama and Holder
are both negligent in their duty.

Hopefully these investigations don't take as long as the Trayvon
Martin investigation (2 and a half years) or the Bo Bergdahl
investigation (going on 5 years).

There you go again stating actual facts.
Facts don't exist in the minds of some who have their minds set.

Here is Linda's statement:

be targeted for assassination for the uniform they wear...or for
the color of their skin.

What part do you take issue with? Seems pretty clear to me.
Or is it your position that at no time in our history has anyone
ever been assassinated because of the uniform they wear or their
skin color?
New Orleans, Henry Glover? Oakland, Oscar Grant? Chicago's
Burge torture scandal?

Obviously the part I highlighted. We know just this past week
two officers in New York were killed because they wore a uniform
(I am old but do not think the alzheimers is setting in yet)
I was just wondering if she or you had any specific cases in
mind from the recent past. Yes obviously in the past there had
been killings of people based soley on their race or ethnicity,
Medger Evers, and Emmitt Till immediately come to my mind
If I recall the Burge incidents involved torture and not
assassination. While extremely deplorable I do not know that
they were motivated by race. The district in which he worked,
Area 2 is almost exclusively black. So why you add it I am not
sure.
Was Glover killed because of the color of his skin? Didnt
Officer Warren have the charges dropped against him?
Reading what i can on Oscar Grant I wonder why you say he was
executed because of the color of his skin. Sounds like him and
some others were involved in a rukus and he was accidentally
shot when the officer used his gun and not his taser while
resisting arrest, as collaborated by one of the other people
being arrested.
And as I said below that should their be any proof that the two
recent homicides involving Black men and police officers turn
out to be they need to be vigorously prosecuted. Till then
anything about their motives would be pure speculation.

I agree. I seconded Linda's comment that it's wrong when it
happens. No particular incident was singled out in that
comment.

Interesting. De Blasio asks his base to not protest until after
the funeral of the slain officers but the protests go on. In an
interview with one of the protestors they state they are going
to protest until they win.. Unfortunately the protestor went
off before the most obvious follow up question could be asked.
Exactly what is a win?
