THE MOVIE IS ABOUT THE PLANNED ASSASSINATION OF A NORTH KOREAN
LEADER. If that's not hatred and racism I dont know what is.
If this was a movie about the planned assassination
of...say...George Bush....would you take it so lightly,
It is a fictional comedy about an assassination. How
would I feel about it? There's a very good chance I would go
and see it. What I wouldn't do about it is threaten a "911
style attack". Do you have any idea how many times world
leaders have been killed in the movies? Do you have any idea
how many comedies and cartoons were produced mocking and/or
killing Hitler? Perhaps you could explain to me what is so
hateful and racist. Perhaps you could explain how a movie about
killing Bin Laden isn't hateful and racist but a comedy about
killing a dictator is.
You are aware that Sony ran this idea past the Obama State
Department before they produced it aren't you?

I hate to burst you bubble but that movie has already been made.
Remember the 2006 film DEATH OF PRESIDENT? I know it was a
British film, but nothing bad came of that, did it?

It's this "free speech" as you call it that has lead to the
racial unrest and the deaths of two police officers.

Careful, lest you find yourself doing what the right often
accuses the Evil Liberals of doing-calling for restrictions on
free, public speech. To keep you safe, of course.
I invite you to look at the hatred his racism has
fanned
You think this hatred is new? Things were just swell between
white cops and black citizens before this?
I assume you haven't listened to much rap music over the last
20 years. Cop killer, et al?
The general anger has been in place for a long, long time, and
Brinsley has a long history of crime, instability and hatred of
Cops.
The deaths of these officers is 100% the fault of Brinsley- the
person pulling the trigger. Revving up the crowd at a protest
is older than the country itself. That doesn't give anyone
license to commit murder or otherwise break the law. That's on
them.

This should be interesting. On one hand, Rev Al's angry
speeches caused the death of two cops. On the other hand, a
movie about assassination is just a movie.

that. MLK jr would be rolling over in his grave with the likes
of this character.

I guess this is what happens when you play with the big boys.
WASHINGTON (AP) -- North Korea experienced sweeping and
progressively worse Internet outages extending into Monday, with
one computer expert saying the country's online access is
"totally down." The White House and the State Department
declined to say whether the U.S. government was
responsible.
Agreed on both points. Seems to be more division than I remember
in my adult lifetime. Don't forget Jesse Jackson, the other
for-profit race baiter.

a Stupid movie, in very bad taste that most likely should never
have been green lighted. That being said I think Sony's cowering
has more to do with personal internal information that could be
leaked than with some security threat to the theatres.

What I think is the funniest line throughout this whole affair
is Obama's "golly gee I wish they would have called me first..."
As if he would have answered the phone to start with all the
while totally ignoring the fact Sony had indeed contacted the
White House. Then again I find myself wondering if he had
forgotten how to use his pen and his phone.
