Democrats rebellion against Obama
DIR By: trollslayer

I seem to remember a couple of years ago a certain poster
declaring an end to the Republican party. Now look at what's
happening in the Democratic party.
--- Quote ---
> CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: If you are a Republican, you should
simply sit back and enjoy this. People have been talking about
the great civil war among Republicans, I've argued that's
rubbish. The real civil war, especial after this election, is
among Democrats and we are seeing now. A rebellion by House
Democrats led by Nancy Pelosi against the White House. A
rebellion by Warren, leading the left-wing faction of the party
against the moderates. And it's a great free for all.
>
> And Earnest is right, this is going to hurt the Democrats
either way. If a short-term continuing resolution is passed, it
means it will come up again in the first months of the new
Congress when Republicans will be entirely in charge. And if
nothing happens, and there is a shutdown, I would love to see
the media cover Yellowstone Park where Little Johnny is weeping
when he arrives after a thousand mile drive to find the gates
closed.

Think the bigger long term problem is the Democrat war on
Hillary. Warren goin after Citi-group on this big bank tax and
regulation thing, that's a shot specifically at Hilary's cash
cow.
Then ya got this torture report thing. Hillary wanting us to
consider the feelings of the bad guys don't jive with her
criticizing Obama for not bein tough enough.
Not sure the Democratic party can move back to centrist
Clintonian Democracy in just two years.

Me thinks Hillary "who speak with forked tongue" Clinton better
start circling the wagons as Chieftess Warren and her far left
wing braves are on war path leading to democratic nomination and
war could be bloody. Many could lose scalps.

I think it's kinda funny, those republicans who refused to vote
for the CR last year and shut the government down were "hostage
takers" among other things. This year when Democrats tried to
do the same thing they were "voting their conscious".

Democrats have always been fractured, between the conservative
blue dogs, the Southern Democrats, the midwest moderates, the
far left liberals, the tree huggers...... not a lot new here.
The party always fights among itself. Whey do you think so
little got done when they controlled all three branches?
Glad to see you put faith in Krauthammer. Did you read what he
said about Garner and the grand jury?
the grand jury's decision here is totally incomprehensible. It
looks as if at least they might have indicted him on something
like involuntary manslaughter, at the very least, the guy
actually said, 'I can't breathe,' which ought to be a signal
that the guy was unarmed, and the crime was as petty as they
come.

Eh, all it will take is 2 years of Republican nonsense to make
them look good again. People have short memories.
Remember the Republicans went from the New Whigs, teetering on
obscurity and irrelevance to the majority party in about that
same time frame. Not because they got better, but because of 2
years of Democrat nonsense.

What do Whigs have to do with Hillary trying to look good
standing next to nine or so other Democrats in the first primary
debate? Prolly five of them with a respectable chance, all
shootin straight at her.
I refuse to believe the Democratic party is so lacking in
potential leaders they skip the primary process and just give
Hillary a pass.

Two years of Democratic nonsense? Republicans have been gaining
ground in both the House and Senate over the past six years, not
two. When is the last time the Democrats had as large of a
majority in the House as the Republicans will now enjoy?
Remember those Southern Democrats you mentioned in another post?
They're all but extinct.

As are the moderate republicans. Today Reagan would be too
centrist to be a mainstream Republican and Nixon would be a
liberal.
Not that it matters. It's Center Stage and Lights On for the
republicans starting next month, they'll either dazzle the
voters with their brilliance or be seen as more of the same
dysfunction and replaced with another reactionary swing of the
pendulum.
Your "rebellion" in the dem party is as meaningless long-term as
the supposed obscurity of the Republican party a few years ago.
Short memories you know.
