I keep hearing that Obama hasn't taken as much vacation time as
other presidents. That might be the case if you count the days
on vacation...I don't know. What I want to know is....how much
did Obama's vacations cost the taxpayers in comparison to the
previous presidents?

This is something new from liberals? The Obama administration
is urging the press to not print stories that may inflame
Muslims. They are harassing the press by reading their emails
and tapping their phones, labeling them as enemies of the
country and adding reporters to the no fly list. You think
liberals editing posts is something new? Remember you're
talking about a forum that is closed to outsiders. You can't
control the message any more than that. Looking at it that way,
why does this behavior surprise you? Can we say control
freaks?? Censorship? Fear??

Interesting question.
It's difficult to say, travel costs have risen (particularly
fuel), presidential security was nearly doubled after the 9/11
attacks and those costs have risen, and Obama has had more than
double the number of death threats than his predecessors.
So you can probably reasonably compare Bush and Obama, but
cannot compare either to any president before Bush because of
the enormous increases in security costs after 9/11.
Presuming you find "fact check" somewhat reliable, they have
some information dated 2011:

Outside that, I can only find sources like Daily Caller, WND and
Mediaite, each of which have clear partisan agendas. The result
predictably depends on which you read.
Obama does travel worldwide while Bush was more likely to
vacation in Texas, so I'd lean towards Obama spending more for
that reason alone.
Other presidents have traveled worldwide like Obama, but during
eras where the costs were far less. If we were to adjust those
vacations for security increases and inflation, I don't know
what the final answer might be.

It's not a matter of liking it or not liking it. You'll find
it's a topic for discussion, (please note subject line) one
you've engaged in more than once. You know what they say about
pointing fingers.
Kinda funny, I don't go there yet I can't talk about it?
Remember the outrage over the Arkansas kid commenting on Walker.
Seems posters were chastised for this behavior.

Investigating threats has a price tag.
I was wrong BTW. The number of death threats didn't double over
Bush, it Quadrupled.

How am I off topic? The subject is Munchkinland, and that's what
I discussed.
Oh, I got it. I didn't WHINE about that forum like certain big
