Happy Thanksgiving
By: trollslayer Date: November 27, 2014, 8:27 am

Every year I find myself with more and more to be thankful for.
I hope the same can be said for you. Thanks for being a part of
the forum. Below are a couple of the big reason I'm thankful.
Below are pics of Lo and Karsynn and the second is Lo and Bella.
A few of my pride and joys. I Have Lo living with us and the
others will be over today a well. Now to get materialistic. I
just got a new Davy Crockett grill which is a baby smoker/grill.
2fat knows what this is. I'll be smoking a ham on that today
while my big grill will have the turkey for our feast later
today. I hope you are all as lucky as I am and get a chance to
spend quality time with family and friends.

WMD, Thanksgiving wouldn't be complete without that clip. I love
it. Thanksgiving also wouldn't be complete without wasting a
little time at Alice's Restaurant.

Happy Thanksgiving, Trolly. I'm sure this won't be the easiest
Thanksgiving for you, but know that your Mom is looking down on
you and smiling.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving, everyone. Although we've never met
face to face, I consider you all my friends.

Guys, I'm going to share an old family recipe with you.
From the Kitchen of Delores Ott (my mom)
Meat Dressing
About 2 to 3 pounds of chicken (dark and light meat)
2 pounds pork sausage - she uses Jimmy Dean Sage and hot sausage
2 onions (chopped)
6 stalks celery with leaves (chopped)
2 49.5 ounce cans chicken broth
2 16 oz. packages Brownberry Herb Seasoning bread stuffing
(crushed kind)
2 pounds chicken livers
6 beaten eggs
Cook chicken until done. (Broth may be used for soup or in place
of canned chicken broth.) Remove chicken from bones. Cook
livers. Fry sausage and drain grease. Saute onion and celery in
margarine. Cool all ingredients.
Grind each meat separately. (This may be done ahead of time.)
When ready to bake, mix all ingredients together. If it feels
dry add a little more broth or water. Bake in large 15 x 11 x 5
inch roaster, or 2 small 13 x 8 x 4 inch roasters. Bake about
2.5 hours at 350 degrees or until done. (1.5 hours for small
roaster.) You can also use this dressing to stuff the turkey if
you like. And you can use giblets in this dressing if you
choose.
This is the BEST dressing you'll ever eat! :)
