Eau Claire school district cancels Veteran's Day program

What are your thoughts on this???
“It's really hard to tell the veterans they're not allowed to
bring those rifles in,” says Olsen. “Which, the only purpose is,
to honor our flag and our country and to teach the kids.”
The Eau Claire school district says while it wishes to honor the
memory and sacrifice of veterans on Veterans Day, it's become
more difficult to do so.
"We like to honor the veterans; we bring them in on a regular
basis,” says Tim Libham, the Executive Director of
Administration with the district. “There are just some
conditions that we have to adhere to and the shooting of guns,
even with blanks, is something we don't feel is appropriate
given society, and the concerns that we have and that the
community has, on school premises.”
Leibham says the district wants to accommodate the programs but
has to keep the well-being of the students and their families in
mind as well
Leibham says, “We'd had family and students that were uneasy,
even with blanks being fired on school premise.”

Firing guns, even with blanks, could lead to PTSD and hearing
loss (Oh good God!)
DC Everest High School is putting on the play "Godspell" (the
fact that they're doing this without complaints from the liberal
element is a miracle in itself). While putting the set together
they of course put a cross in the scene that is supposed to be a
church. The next day they were told the cross has to go and it
was replaced with a diamond.
A Veteran tribute without guns, Godspell without a cross. What
the he!! is this world coming to?

iirc they(the vets) were told they could have there ceremony in
a nearby A&W parking lot

That's what you get when you have liberals running the school
systems. Do yourself and your community a huge favor...vote out
all the socialist liberals off the school boards.

It appears the complaints (about firearms being used) started
with students and their parents. Plenty of schools run by
those Evil Liberals continue on with their celebrations.

How many students complained? A handful of brain dead liberal
ones. Mama and Daddy brain liberal out them up to it.
So of course the liberal school district authorities will jump
at the idea.
Once again because of a small number of whining liberals
everyone else is made to suffer.

Do you have proof that a single "Liberal" was involved?
Shall we discuss again who has actually done more gun banning?
