I'm not familiar with the book. I do believe we approach most
social issues the wrong way, often making the problems worse.
That's a subject for another thread.

Well Rapids it now appears that Gates, Clinton and Panetta have
all been pretty much saying what I've been saying all along.
Obama could have had a SOFA. He just didn't want one.

So he did bring all the troops home, exactly as he promised,
without the Iraqi's forcing him to do so.
That answers that question.

So then why is he saying we were forced out of Iraq? That this
was Malaki's choice not his? Just another case of him wanting
to have it both ways.
I can think of two campaign promises he's kept Bringing troops
home from Iraq and we've seen what a mess that's become, and
Obamacare and we already see what a mes that is. Good job Mr.
President!

Absolutely. He's playing both sides of the fence. Same as every
other politician. So far everything about Iraq has been a lie,
"misstatement", or double-sided fence playing, going back to
1991.

Unless Jason L. Riley is the most pretentious author, with
regards to book titles, the title alone should tell everything
it is about. :)
