DNC's war on women
DIR By: trollslayer

In advance of an election Dem's are already conceding big losses
they've already found their whipping girl. Debbie Wasserman
Schultz. It's kind of like blaming her for the sinking of the
Titanic because she didn't bail fast enough.
--- Quote ---
> Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman
Schultz is in a behind-the-scenes struggle with the White House,
congressional Democrats and Washington insiders who have lost
confidence in her as both a unifying leader and reliable party
spokesperson at a time when they need her most.
>
> Long-simmering doubts about her have reached a peak after two
recent public flubs: criticizing the White House’s handling of
the border crisis and comparing the tea party to wife beaters.
> The perception of critics is that Wasserman Schultz spends
more energy tending to her own political ambitions than helping
Democrats win. This includes using meetings with DNC donors to
solicit contributions for her own PAC and campaign committee,
traveling to uncompetitive districts to court House colleagues
for her potential leadership bid and having DNC-paid staff focus
on her personal political agenda.
>
> She’s become a liability to the DNC, and even to her own
prospects, critics say.

That's the downside of being in charge.

Yeah, there's always a scapegoat in every election. Makes no
difference if it's the Democrats or the Republicans.
And we'll see what bodes this election...after the election.

If we're starting a forum pool, I have a buck on Dems losing a
few seats but holding the senate, no big changes in the House or
in state Governor's races. This isn't going to be a repeat of
1994.
People are sick of the current situation, but they are also
sick of both the dems AND the republicans, there aren't any
shining stars or brilliant plans on either side.

I'll see your buck and raise you another five. I think people
are sick of Reid blocking everything that comes through. Even
his own party. There are currently roughly 360 bills waiting on
his desk to see the light of day. More than any tie in history.
Even bills written by his own party.

That's the downside of being female in a male dominated line of
work. Gotta work twice as hard and screw up half as much to be
considered half as valuable as the men. ;)

True. So you better treat her right when she gets home. Or you
may find there is more than your taxes that might be withheld.
;)

Well, after 30 years my wife now earns more than I do. I'm all
for it.
Today I got home first, ran to the store, made supper, swept
the floors... got tomorrow's supper in the crock pot already.
;D
