Time to Impeach the entire Ninth Circus!

Well, that time may have come years (decades?) ago, their most
recent disregard for the concept of laws of which they are
entrusted to judge over truly takes the cake! >:( :( ::) :P
From their point of view, a shirt with the American Flag on is a
form of HATE SPEECH! ???

Good grief! The American Flag is a form of hate speech? If that
is what you think WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING HERE?

The court ruled, as has every court presented with the same
issue, that the school has the right to limit speech and
expression when necessary. That is all they ruled on. The
court did not comment on the shirts, or on flags.

The issue appears to be with the school administrators who
thought the flag shirts would start a gang war at the school.
Or maybe the problem is with Mexican-Americans who find the flag
offensive enough to provoke violence on Cinco de Mayo?

That and the court. It's ok to disrespect the flag 365 days a
year by burning it whenever you want. Wearing it on May 5th
however isn't. There is definitely something upside down here.
Kinda like banning wearing Packer memorabilia at a Packer game
because the opposing team may be offended.

Okay, here's the story I saw on the news a year ago. What was
happening was a handful of rednecks were showing up for school
on Cinco in their US flag shirts, and trying to provoke fights
with the Mexican kids. And after they were disciplined for
trying to start trouble, they cried "we were punished for
WEARING THE US FLAG!"

Sounds like the Hispanic boys are the one who were being the
racists and making the threats
And because of that THEY are the ones who should be on the
losing end of this argument.

No more Cinco de Mayo day and no more Mexican flags on the
schools property because of it. EVER
And the white kids are called rednecks because??
They are rednecks because they hung an American flag.
They are rednecks because the Hispanics boys made threats
against them and yelled "F*** them white boys" and "Lets f***
then up"
" MD was approached by a male student who, in the words of the
district court, "shoved a Mexican flag at him and said something
in Spanish expressing anger at [M.D.'s] clothing."
Yeah right.
The Hispanic boys are the poor innocent victims.
The white boys are the bad guys and are rednecks.

Thanks for the link. Seems like mutual combat. It would seem
the most fair and equitable way to stem some of the problems
would be to not allow the shirts on May 5th and to put an end to
the Cinco De Mayo parties. Oh..... wait..... That would be
considered racist wouldn't it?

Oh, I'm sure there was. I'm sure the animosity between the two
groups has festered for some time.
i saw an interview on TV with the boys who were wearing the flag
shirts. And they were belligerent. I wanted to ask them how
often they wore flag shirts on days when it WASN'T Cinco de
Mayo.
