See any flooding?

I haven't heard much about this online. I don't know how much
rain we received in the deluge on Thursday night but I know of a
lot of people who have flooded basements and water damage. I
went to take a ride on my short loop this morning (17 miles) and
found several inches of water in a couple of different areas.
One of my kids works for one of the fire and water damage
companies and has been working 12 hours days since Did Rapids
get the rain?

The good news for me is I was able to grill out some T bones
today. A friend of mine whose basement flooded gave his beef
away cause his freezer is toast. Not my favorite cut but the
price is right. :)

I had a couple of creeks running in the basement and it stained
the white painted floor. I don't see any standing water where I
live. The mosquitos have finally appeared. That is very weird
considering it is Sept.

I had mushrooms under some trees before the latest rain. The
biggest crisis we had was "Loghanne Park" has been flooded until
today. Poor lil girl couldn't go down the slides. My house is
built into a hill and I had a very damp basement that required
some pretty heavy use of the dehumidifier. Dam thing is pretty
noisy but I had to run it around the clock.

Mosquitos are TERRIBLE!

No kidding. I trimmed up some hedges today and went to dump the
clippings in the woods behind the house. Boy was that a bad
decision.

We got a good .25 inches of rain this morning. Supposed to get
1.5 to 3.5 more overnight. I have to be in Plover at 4:30 am.
I'm wondering if I should take the ark.
