13 hours at Benghazi
By: trollslayer Date: September 5, 2014, 8:47 am

A special on FNC tonight at 9. I've heard some clips. Well
worth giving it a view. Accounts rigt from those who were
there, not from the spin machine.

Haha. Fox IS a spin machine. It just spins in the other
direction.

This is actually an interview with three of those who were
actually on the ground at the time. If you wish to discredit
their story just because Fox is presenting it, before they
present it, you're no better than F. Maybe you'll believe the
book then? After the many lies and various spin put out by the
administration after this you'll believe them?

Who said anything about discrediting their story? I have no
reason to believe they are anything other than truthful. I
simply don't watch FOX (or MSNBC) and have no intentions to
start. Those channels are politically driven brain-rot.
Isn't it you who has chosen to discredit the House's
investigation of Benghazi?

I don't have to discredit it. The White House a done a pretty
good job of discrediting themselves already, as has the State
Department today, playing the semantic game. The didn't give a
"stand down" order, but now are admitting that they gave a
"wait" order. WTF is the difference? In fact those interviewed
stated they defied orders and engaged anyway after nearly thirty
minutes.
An investigation is only as good as the participants. Anyone
who thinks the White House and State Department have been
truthful and forthcoming in this investigation are under a
"mistaken belief".

Is there a point in doing any more investigations if 1/2 the
population simply disregards them as inaccurate? It would seem
a waste of time and money.
"stand down" and "wait" mean entirely different things, BTW.
"Wait" is a temporary order to stay put. "Stand down" means to
withdraw or resign. Whatever the order, it appears to have
come from the CIA, not the White house or dept. of state.
One by one the false talking points are disproven.

unfold in real time but did nothing to intervene.
FALSE: Requests issued by U.S. personnel for military back-up
during the attacks were denied.
FALSE: General Carter Ham was relieved of his command for
attempting to provide military assistance during the Benghazi
attacks.
FALSE: Rear Admiral Charles M. Gaouette was relieved of his
command for attempting to provide military assistance during the
Benghazi attacks.

An absolutely compelling story. No politics involved, just "the
rest of the story" from three American heroes!

Which department gave the order means nothing. The order to
wait was given, this was a lie by omission. To address your case
of semantics, The "temporary" order to wait was never
rescinded. Therefore, again, maybe you can tell me what the
difference is. When you're being shot at all you know is help
isn't coming. Whether or not the order keeping the help away is
temporary or not away means nothing. The agency who gave the
order means even less. The order to engage never was given.
You left out a couple of "false points" in your last post.
False: A you tube video caused this.
False: This was a spontaneous protest.
False: Obama didn't know all this was false prior to addressing
the UN two weeks later.

They need to find out who this "Bob" was talking to on the phone
while they were told to stand down.

Obama's narcissism got those people killed.
He made a huge point to proclaim that al-Qaeda was done.
That is why no more security was provided even after it was
asked for numerous times.
That's why there was no rapids response teams available within
striking distance.
That's why the video lie was perpetrated.
Obama is never wrong.
Obama has never made a mistake.
That is... in Obama's world.... anyway.
