Another journalist beheaded!
By: trollslayer Date: September 2, 2014, 5:47 pm

What is the plan Mr president? The world is waiting for some
kind of decision
It should be as clear as the nose on your face that ignoring
the problem is not going to make it go away!

More evidence of the non strategy. He doesn't know whether to
destroy, degrade or contain ISIS. All the emotion of Ferris
Beullers teacher in this video. It would be nice to hear a
little of the passion he uses on the campaign trail, when when
hes spouting vitriol against republicans instead of the fairly
monotone speech he gave here.

You just proved my point, Snickers....

Speaking for myself Linda, I'm dam frustrated at the lack of
passion, the lack of any plan. The lack of any type of action.
Wen people ay Obama is detached, tat i exactly the impression I
get when I saw him at a press conference today. It looks like
he just doesn't give a schitt.

While I agree with your frustration, I'd rather see delayed
action than have another president go off half-****ed, invading
the wrong country for the wrong reasons just to be "doing
something".
The ISIS problem is a difficult one as most of the locals who
oppose them also are either opposed by us or part of a civil war
we cannot be seen taking sides in.
Which side should we take in Syria? Iran? A misstep here
will create bigger problems than we already have.
While the enemy of my enemy is my friend, we do have to be
careful about arming those "friends", as they will quickly
revert to enemies again.
That said, I agree Obama should find his spine when speaking in
public. The Russians get it. Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov,
moments after ISIS threatened Putin said: "these bastards will
be destroyed."
Simple, unmistakable, and somehow I believe they mean it.

While I understand the idea of caution, Obama has been getting
briefs about ISIS for over a year. A year ago he was already
publicly talking about putting a strategy together to deal with
the threat. How cautious is too cautious? I'm glad I didn't
send him for a fire extinguisher!

For that reason, I highly suspect you won't see any Russian
journalists beheaded.
