I watched a bit of the news tonight. The CIA annex in Libya has
terrorists jumping off of the second story balcony into the pool
having a great time. Next we see Russian troops and heavy armor
penetrating Ukraine and our administration can't even call this
an "invasion". Do you know that America dropped more bombs in
one day during the height of the Iraq war than they have dropped
all this year? Does this look like an administration with any
kind of strategy?

Here we are, a week out from Obama's speech. Does anyone
seriously doubt that Obama doesn't have a plan?

Looks like the plan is to keep dropping bombs and hope someone
else comes up with the rest.
Which of course nobody will do because there's an election
coming up and the potential for things going wrong is too great.
Asking what the plan is is pretty safe. Expect lots of that.
Coming up with one is a minefield. Expect little of that.
10 foot pole war.

If you wish to consider having no plan a plan. :D
I just figgered that asking Iran for help, and hoping Putin
decides to throw in isn't really having a plan. I think back to
my days when I was in supervisory positions. If I were to tell
those working with me that I wasn't going to do a certain task,
it would be really hard to get others to do that task as well.
You shouldn't expect others to do what you refuse to do
yourself. First lesson in management 101.

It looks like the plan is coming together. We're going to have
boots on the ground. It looks like we're going to rely on the
Iraqi army in Iraq. You know, the same army that dropped their
weapons and ran the last time they faced ISIS. In Syria it
looks like we're going to rely on the Free Syrian army. You
know the same dentists doctors and farmers that Obama has
refused to arm over the past few years. For some reason this
plan doesn't instill a lot of confidence in me.
