The clearest sign of gross incompetence

When Obama was asked about a plan about ISIL in Syria.
"We don't have a strategy....yet.
Talk about freakin clueless. Then you wonder why the standing
of the US has fallen amongst the international community? I'm
quite honestly ashamed of our leadership after a statement like
that.

Yup, he's not even phoning it in anymore. The idea that he
admits he has no strategy to deal with the most credible threat
against the US is his own doing. Nobody elses The idea that
he hasn't even thought of a strategy shows he's ineffective.
Ignoring a problem doesn't make it go away. Nobody, but himself
is responsible for this piece of ineptness. We should all be
afraid. Very afraid.

Is that the president's job now, to come up with military
strategy? God help us if it is.
I was pretty sure we had an entire Defense department and
intelligence community we pay billions of dollars to that should
be creating strategy to deal with threats to our country.
They've done nothing?

I guess we can blame the Defense Department and intelligence
community for going into Iraq and not finding WMD's then. I'm
not sure what it is about the term "Commander in Chief" you
don't understand.

Commander in Chief generally chooses among options presented to
him by advisors.
Have any options have been presented to Obama? And what makes
you think he'd broadcast them worldwide? Some sort of desire to
give the enemy a heads up?

According to the Pentagon, yes options have been presented and
they've been out there. It's common behavior for this president
to throw a person, or a group of people under the bus for his
own inabilities. The amount of time spent on spin control by
the White House over this is laughable.
So you think that Joe Scarborough thinks the Presidents plan was
to look totally inept to fool them? Well, it worked. He did.
Especially when you see David Camerons press conference. Quite
a stark difference.

Each did what they are good at! :D
Obama is a rookie at this stuff. No denying that, it's obvious.
That doesn't mean your original claim of "no plan" is correct.

The original claim was "no strategy". It wasn't my claim.

There is none, but this wasn't my point.

The claim of not having a plan and or strategy wasn't mine. It
came right from the horses mouth. The lack of any definite plan
is obvious, the entire world, including ISIS can see it. Obama
reacts, never acts. It says a lot when the JV team has the
leader of the greatest military of the world flummoxed.
