I hope that F is equally outraged by this "murder of our youth"
       by a police officer
  HTML http://fox13now.com/2014/08/11/breaking-man-dead-after-officer-involved-shooting-in-s-salt-lake-police-say/
Or this young man is Dallas

Well maybe not...... they were white.

Yes Jack, why wouldn't I be?
       Careful, your slip is showing.
but seriously, we need to do something about these trigger happy
       cops.

Jack, seriously? Only the unjustices done to blacks matter?
You're sorta missing the entire point here, aren't you.
This, if true, is complete nonsense and may be criminal:
       --- Quote ---
       > According to Sweeten, the officers demanded that the suspect
       and the two others surrender.
       >
       > The suspect did not follow orders and was shot.
       --- End Quote ---
In the old days the cop would chase the suspect down and tackle
them. More recently they'd use a taser. Nowadays they just
shoot to kill when someone doesn't follow orders?

I see where in NYC a black guy knocked out a white woman who is
6 months pregnant. The knock out game.
Will Obama come out and say anything about this?
       No of course not.
But he will jump right in and condemn police that are only
trying to do their job to control rioting and looting.

Now Rapids you're jumping to conclusions when the statement is
       made
       --- Quote ---
       > The suspect did not follow orders and was shot.
       --- End Quote ---
How did he not follow orders? Did he attempt to flee? Did he
attempt to attack the cop? Did he reach for a weapon? It
       doesn't say.

No, it doesn't. Typically they'd report "resisting arrest" or
"assaulted the officer", but they did not. But yeah, fair
enough. Judgment withheld until more facts come out.

You don't see a difference between a common criminal and a
public employee (allegedly) abusing their authority with
       excessive force?
BTW, when did "only trying to do their job" get expanded to
include arresting reporters, then slamming their head into a
       wall and accosting city alderman?

To borrow from a Steve A Smith rant, we have to consider
       provocation. ;)

Shooting tear gas at rioters is not excessive force especially
when they are shot being shot at, fire bombed ,and have rocks
       thrown at them.
And the report I saw said the reporter's head got bumped into a
glass plated door. They were taken into custody. No charges were
       filed.
The Alderman was arrested for unlawful assembly. Anyone at
those demonstration could be arrested for that after the order
to disperse is given. Was that Alderman above the law?
