My thought.
These Islamic State militants are the worst of the worst when
it comes to Islamist extremist terrorists.
They are out in the open in large groups and are easy targets.
Bomb the 5hit out of them.
Kill as many of these scum sucking monsters as we can, while
they are out in the open.
The only good Muslim extremists is a dead Muslim extremists.

If Obama and his Administration had a half a brain between them.
They would let the ISIS fighters think they can take that
mountain top where the Yazidis are holed up. Suck them in. Let
them amass 5000-7000 fighters around that mountain with all
their military equipment. Then carpet bomb them with B-52s. That
would wipe them out. Nothing can survive that kind of air
strike.
That air strike on that single piece of artillery was s a joke.

Good plan, but two potential problems. One- aren't there a lot
of caves in that area? Seems to me the military had problems
with that before, having to resort to the behemoth bunker-buster
bombs.

Whatever they do, they need to remember this is not about Iraq.
This is a movement born in Syria and will always be.

The Obama administration did the right thing. It may be too
little too late however. Unfortunately it seems our foreign
policy is based more on reaction instead of action. Instead of
telling people, nations we aren't going to...
We need to tell them we're going to bomb you, and bomb you, and
then bomb you some more. To tell them we're going to drop a
couple of bombs on them and then leave them alone is the wrong
message. This operation is so small it doesn't have a name.
Some have suggested calling it "Operation Martha's Vineyard".
That kind of puts the priority into focus.
