Eating a snack at the Knute Rockne wayside in Indiana doing a
road trip out East. Been enjoying the discussions. Not much to
add of late

Getting ready for Farm Technology Days? August 12-14! Also of
note Marshfield's American Legion Baseball team was playing for
the state championship in Plover Sunday, and lost. Somehow they
are in Indiana playing some tournament. No word how they have
done so far.

I just came in from my walk. Yes there are crickets chirping but
there are no mosquitos where I live. I have been bit twice this
summer. Yes, I go outside. I just came in from my walk and it is
9:40 in the evening.
The Port fun fest starts tomorrow. The car and motorcycle cruise
is tomorrow. They stage at 3-6pm then the cruise leaves at 6pm.
I believe they head to Rapids. They stop by the Nursing home
first. There will be free ice cream and pie at the Methodist
Church at 5:30pm then the live music will start at 6:15. I don't
know who is playing.
Saturday is the Car show, Motorcycle show, Tractor show and
Craft show. That all goes from 9am to 4pm.
The event proceeds help benefit the South Wood County Pantry
Shelf.

took a motorcycle ride with the grandkid--visited Wild Rose Fish
Hatchery----still an interesting place to visit!!

It's nice to see the price of gas hasn't kept you from filling
up the Harley!! I haven't been doing much grilling of late but
I've come to the conclusion that today is a good day to do a
butt!!

Been doing alot more riding then cooking--helped at a contest in
Rochester(mn) yesterday--even on the bike gas bill was about
30bucks---wondering what will happen to the prices on some
longer trips planned this fall

Day one of Farm Tech Days: Arrived at 9:30 and stayed until
3:00. The day started cold and windy but warmed up. Even though
the sight received 2 inches of rain the day prior this sort of
worked out well because of the sandy soil is absorbing water
instead of blowing around into dust. I won't be able to return
for Wednesday but I might be able to go back Thursday. First FTD
that gave away free pizza samples!
