Gannett had a good piece in yesterdays paper about politicians
"going Washington". I'm going to see if I can find a link for
that. I'm not a fan of them but this was a great piece.

Thanks. Good article. I think this is absolutely correct:
“The more time you spend inside the Beltway, the less realistic
your view of the Midwest or wherever the home districts are,”

Term limits. Period. Judging from the article and from past
history the longer you're there, the more "Washington" you
become and the more out of touch you become to your
constituents.

I go back and forth on term limits. On one hand I agree with
what you said above.
On the other hand, if an elected rep does a good job for their
constituents, why should they be fired based simply on time?
Perhaps the voters should be allowed to Cantor them when they
decide the time comes.

The latest in the poor off. Bubba stood up for his wife today
saying they speak to the rabble at the grocery store each
weekend so that certainly makes them "one of the regular folks".
But Uncle Joe has a say as well.

Ah yeah, campaign-y canoodling with us common folk. Pretty
obvious for what it is.
I'll give them this, at least the Clintons can pretend to relate
to normal people. Republicans can't even do that right.
Remember Romney's awkward forays into the world of real people?

Yup, most of the "real people" are smarter than these rich
people give them credit. I do have to give you credit though.
At least you changed it up a little for a change. "Romney did
it". A refreshing change for you.

video with an attractive gal in a red dress getting felt up.

So much for Bubba coming to the rescue of Hillary. It seems he
just dug the hole deeper and threw the dirt over her. Bubba
bragging how he bought 14 $500 watches and gave them away.
Every average American does that. I wonder if he gave them away
to his friends at the grocery store. ;D ;D
