Meanwhile, the U of A has suspended the access of the reporter
who broke this story. So much for the first amendment. Isn't
this library owned by the taxpayer?

So you are worried about the 1'st amendment rights of the
reporter, and rightly so, but not the due process rights of
Lawyer Clinton's client?
She did exactly what our legal system requires a defense atty's
to do. Your complaint is that she was better at it than the
prosecutor?
Anything to smear Hillary, eh?

It's one thing to represent a scumbag who raped a twelve year
old girl (voluntarily I might add. She wasn't a public defender)
It's a completely different matter to joke about it and laugh
about it ten years later. Also an entirely different matter to
proclaim a republican war on women decades later when you say
this kind of rhetoric against a twelve year old girl who was
raped. Twelve Rapids.

I agree with that, nothing about it is funny. Not at all.
So, she wasn't the public defender, volunteered to take the
case- I have to ask why? Did she have some personal connection
to the defendant? (I don't recall any details of the case)

A friend of a friend asked her to do the case.

Seems a good time to pull the "Gee I'd love to, but I'm booked
solid" thing on. I can't imagine lawyers enjoy defending these
sort of cases, must've been a really good friend.

I think they are all out of touch. We're just a "nation of
whiners" as I recall.
They don't hang with the middle class after being elected, don't
live in middle class neighborhoods, don't send their kids to
middle class schools. Instead it's limos, taxpayer funded
vacations and $10K a plate fundraisers.
Nobody in DC remembers what it's like to raise a family of 4 on
42K/year, the national average. Nobody. And anyone you send
there who does will quickly forget.

The Clintons have made over $100 million since leaving the White
House. In 2012 Bill made $17 million, since leaving the White
House he's made $106 million Hillary gets $200,000 for
speaking engagements. Since leaving State she's made $5
million. They're multi millionaires. Hillary's defense for
this is they aren't like other multi millionaires because they
pay capitol gains taxes where the Clintons pay income taxes. Do
you seriously think this separated them from other multi
millionaires?
Let's not forget the last gaffe by her just a week or so ago,
when they left the White House they were almost broke, despite
being paid hundred's of thousands of dollars as president and
were having a hard time paying the mortgages on their houses.
Does this sound like somebody who is in touch with the average
American struggling to make ends meet?

they bought a $1.7 million mansion in NY with a little help from
their friends.
