Funny how comparing republicans to horses is funny. Comparing
democrats to monkeys isn't.

I remember huge outrage over a Obama/ monkey cartoon.
I guess it's ok to compare Republicans to animals but not
Democrats.

I can take a joke just a well, if not better than the next guy.
It just pi$ses me off when one side can dish it out but then
whimper like little pu$sies when they get teased. This pc
nonsense has gone too far. The Senate wasting time on the
Washington Redskins, the whiners over the monkey cartoon, or
the phony outrage when the guy who sings "Happy" wore a head
dress on a magazine cover, a high school skit doing YMCA being
cancelled because one of them wore a head dress as well This
has just gone way to far.

I'm sure you already know this, but it wasn't that he was a
democrat, rather the fact he's black, and there is a long,
derogatory and shameful history of comparing Blacks to
primates.
Making fun of political parties is fair game. Making fun of
race is not.
I suppose we could pretend that wasn't really the issue if it
makes ya'll feel better.

But no where in that cartoon was race referred to nor implied.
Race was only brought into it by the race baiters.

The cartoon featured a black man being compared to an ape. You
think the author was such a moron they did not know the history
of that comparison? That nobody who laughed at it knew?
Race does not need to be mentioned, it's right there front
and center in all it's ugly historical context. Of course you
believe the problem is with those who point it out.
Not unfamiliar, we've also been through this with "uppity" and
"boy.
But the minute someone mentions the word "teabagger", the
tables turn and suddenly you "get it".
Hey, they wear teabags on their hats. Teabaggers. Nobody said
anything about male anatomy. Where did anybody mention anything
about male anatomy?
Keep the denials and justifications in mind next time you wonder
why minorities are suspicious of Republicans and/or
Conservatives.

There's a pretty clear difference between racist joke and not
racist joke. It just seems that many conservatives just can't
figure that out, or like Snickers, choose not to notice.

This joke compares the two politicians to a pile of crackers,
which is a slur for white people. This is a racist joke.

But dressing up as an Indian just like the 80's video is racist,
cheering on the Redskins like they have for decades is racist,
or portraying an inept politician as a monkey which has been
going on as long as there have been inept politicians. You
pathetically not racists individuals really are quite pathetic
to say the least.
In T S Eliot's award winning play Murder in the Cathedral we
hear the lines "the last temptation is the greatest treason. To
do the right deed for the wrong reason". You race baiters
mistake the right deed and assign it the wrong reason. You
always assign some nefarious motive where there is none looking
for phony outrage. Just a bunch of race baiting #hores, all in
the name of some made up political correctness.
