This weeks White House scandal
DIR By: trollslayer
Date: June 9, 2014, 9:47 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
It seems of late the White House's policies are leading to
pretty much one scandal after another. Two weeks ago, the VA
scandal which has since turned out to be 100's of thousands of
vets being placed on waiting lists, not receiving care and in
extreme cases dying. Last week it' the Obama Rose Garden
victory lap which turned out to be anything but and has turned
several people from his own party against him.
This week, it's the Obama immigration policy, (or lack thereof)
that has tens of thousands of illegal children immigrating to
the US, creating a humanitarian crisis that is likely to cost us
Billions (with a B). Not to mention shipping them to Arizona
bus stations to fend for themselves.
--- Quote ---
> "Word has gotten out around the world about President Obama's
lax immigration enforcement policies and it has encouraged more
individuals to come to the United States illegally," said Rep.
Bob Goodlatte (R) of Virginia, a key broker in immigration
reform efforts on Capitol Hill, in a statement last week.
>
> The numbers are stark.
>
> During the decade preceding fiscal year 2012, the federal
government agency tasked with caring for unaccompanied minors
who cross the border illegally dealt with an average of 7,000 to
8,000 cases a year, according to a Department of Health and
Human Services fact sheet. In fiscal year 2011, the number was
6,560.
>
> The following year, however, the number jumped to 13,625. This
fiscal year, which ends Sept. 30, 2014, federal officials are
estimating that the number could be 80,000, according to an
internal memo cited by The New York Times.
>
> Obama called the situation a "humanitarian crisis" Monday.
Poverty and violence are driving the migration, administration
officials say, and activists working with migrants agree. But
some also suggest that DACA could be a factor.
>
> Tania Chavez of La Union del Pueblo Entero told KRGV-TV of the
Rio Grande Valley that the "coyote" smugglers who bring Central
Americans to the US illegally may be telling people that
children can take advantage of the program and find work in the
United States.
>
> Indeed, media reports have indicated that many of the migrants
are coming because they believe children will not be deported.
"They're saying that women and children are allowed to stay," a
recently detained undocumented immigrant from Guatemala told
Monitor correspondent Lourdes Medrano in Tucson, Ariz.,
Thursday.

I would think the CSM would be an approved source for F.

This weeks Republican attempt to smear the president by jumping
to conclusions and cherry picking facts.
You people are nothing if not predictable.

As are you. Instead of attacking the, source, poster,
republicans in general in your snorf like way, why don't you
actually comment on the meat of the subject. Try to post adult
like if you're at all capable. This is a humanitarian crisis
growing by the day and you just turn your nose up at it,
categorizing it as some kind of phony scandal. It's real and
it's growing by the day.

If you don't wish to think that 10's of thousands of families
are being broken because of Obama's refusal to enforce
immigration policies that's ok.
100's of thousands of veterans not being able to get adequate
healthcare leading to the deaths of some not being scandalous
that's fine too.
Or five war prisoners being released illegally to go out and
kill again as a scandal that's fine.
Or.......

I guess you're done. Time for the name calling. Judging by the
tumbling poll numbers it looks as though more and more people
are becoming "belivers". But you know that, otherwise you
wouldn't come running to your hero's defense every...
single..... time. Like clockwork. ;) Great defense F.
Thanks for not participating, (again)

Pretty much. They've even tried to scandalize Obama's
vacations, even though they are in line with what previous
presidents have done.
There are some serious issues no doubt, but FTB is right. Keep
applying that term to everything and soon nobody but the
faithful base listens.
