Rules & Anger

The most important rule of ethics is: Treat your brother or
sister as you would like to be treated.
God loves every person equally, from the person in the deepest
hells, to the person in the highest spheres of love. That is
why, if we wish to learn to love as God loves, it is important
to treat everyone equally. We should not put ourselves above
others, treat ourselves as more important than others, make
exceptions for ourselves or treat people in a way we would not
accept treatment of ourselves. This is all out of harmony with
how God sees the equal worth between us all.
It is not nice to have a person express their anger towards you.
Therefor I must ask anyone that wishes to post on this forum to
consider carefully, before they post, whether or not they feel
any anger at the time. Anger consists of a spectrum of emotions
including, but not limited to: irritation, annoyance,
frustration, rage and hatred. When you feel any of these
emotions, do not post. Go scream into a pillow, hit the bed,
stamp your feet or do whatever to allow yourself to access what
is underneath the rage. Go through the rage and connect to the
deeper feelings underneath. Don't hold on to your anger and
project it on someone else - you wouldn't like that done to you.
It's not about creating a facade of non-anger either, if it
takes you months to remove the causes of your anger, then don't
post for months.
Failure to comply with these rules, will result in a temporary
ban, to give you time off the forum, to deal with the emotions
that caused your anger. When you feel that you've dealt with the
emotions, you can post in the "Discussion of bans" subforum, and
if the admin or moderators (currently just me) feel that the
truth is that the cause of anger has been dealt with, we'll lift
the ban and allow you back on.
These rules will get updated and added upon, to discuss these
rules, see:
