What Goes to Wink's Inbox...

So apparently, if you haven't heard, in addition to getting more
signatures and handing out more shirts, Icarus gave out papers
that contained the e-mail address of Wink Vavasseur. (Being
w.c.vavasseur@titorconglomerate.com)
I'm making this topic to ask what should we send to Wink? I've
gotten a few ideas but if you have a good idea or already sent
him something, we should share it here. Good idea?

But seriously, we were told to tell me him what we think about
Chikara being gone and all. To be honest, I'm not sure what to
write yet. I will send something later today.

I think we should be looking for a password so we can log into

I learned a lot about email harassment over the years being
involved in animal liberation activism. Making someone's
internet life a living hell is a good way to distract them from
their daily activities....be it exploiting our fellow living
creatures for profit or shutting down our favorite wrestling
promotion...
That said, I will soon be sharing some strategies with the rest
of the class ;D

Yes we should, wasn't there a member who said he had a username

that was me, and they seemed to just be test logins.
it takes you to

but gives you
a 404. nothing has changed.

Well for the sake of getting the ball rolling, here's what I
sent to that address, regardless of who it belongs to:
"Wink Vavasseur, if this is really you, then I hope you take in
the full scope of what I'm about to say.
I've been a fan of CHIKARA for years now. Not as long as others,
I came in as late as 2010. But ever since then I've been nothing
but loyal to the product.
But let's be honest here...when you started making mistakes, and
don't act like they weren't, you refused to go back on them. You
failed to recognize your own faults, and when nothing went your
way, you shut everything down in a fit of rage like the man
child that you are.
Now the very thing that I love got taken away after I had the
privilege of attending one show in my hometown of Tampa,
Florida. And as of now, it may look like I'll never get another
chance. This Wink, is unacceptable.
I was willing to turn a blind eye to mixing up the Colony,
mixing up FIST, even your attempts to bring in The Submission
Squad. But when you tried to change history, putting the King of
Trios medals on The Xtreme Force, making Gavin Loudspeaker, a
non-wrestler nearly kill himself in a match with Tim Donst, and
prevented a Grand Championship match from reaching its'
conclusion and taking away what has become my favorite wrestling
promotion, all you have done was make things worse for yourself.
So consider this what will be your one and only warning: If I
ever find you, I will make sure that through hell or high water
I will MAKE you pay for your crimes, MAKE you feel sorry for
your mistakes, and ultimately I will MAKE you give CHIKARA back
to the people. You don't have to ask me how, it's gonna be done
by force.
If you find my words threatening, then by all means send your
precious Condor Security team down to my location and stop me
before I even try. I'll even tell you where I am: (omitted).
I'll fend for myself and go out fighting. Unless of course I
take down all your scrubs myself and extract the information out
of them personally. That's your call. But for now, consider
yourself a marked man.
CHIKARA was never yours to have. It was for the fans, the
wrestlers, and me. If you wanna take CHIKARA away, then I'm just
gonna have to take it back.
Your move, Wink."

I went in a different direction. I figure that he's a business
man - business men respond to money, not emotional appeals. So,
here's my email:
"Good afternoon Mr. Vavasseur,
I'm sure you now realize that the Chikarmy has your email,
thanks to Icarus. While you may not have heard the news through
social media, I'm sure the angry messages and sudden invitations
to match.com and christiandating.com were huge clues. Well, let
me assure you, this email is different.
Honestly, I am confused about why you would end Chikara, even
after Derek Sabato shared what appeared to be a rather
compromising photograph. He's not the most trustworthy person
and could be easily discredited, even if the photo was
incriminating. However, I'm sure you have your reasons and that
they are very good. I admit I do miss Chikara, a promotion I
really loved. I've written about that, and if you're so
inclined, you can read about it here -

I won't insult your intelligence or waste your time. You're a
smart business man and I think it would be very smart to bring
back Chikara. I work in the corporate world myself and know what
matters in business - and that's the bottom line. You shouldn't
bring back Chikara because we fans are upset and want it back.
You shouldn't bring it back because wrestling needs a creative
alternative. You should bring Chikara back because it makes
money. While I don't have access to the financials, I have
noticed some things that all point to the profitability and
potential continued profitability of Chikara. I know that the
DVD's are the top-selling items on Smart Mark Video's website.
I've been in the large King of Trios crowds. I was at Wrestlecon
as part of the 1,200 or so crowd. From what I've read, the iPPV
buys aren't bad either. So, I know it draws. I also noticed
Chikara was set to début in several new markets during the last
months of this current year. Wrestling companies that are dying
financially don't grow, but profitable ones do.
The Chikarmy is loyal. We will always come back, so you already
have us as paying customers. But who knows how many new (paying)
fans have been drawn in because of the intrigue of recent
events? New fans equals new growth, which equals more money. A
profitable portfolio keeps your current investors happy and may
encourage them to invest more. It also draws new investors and
more money. It's like having your own money tree - that's why
you should bring back Chikara.
