       Very sad business, indeed.
Now, does anyone think this plays into Chikara in any way or is
this strictly WIF! story? (which I personally think is all it
       is)

in a way it does have to do with Chikara. I seems like this
hiatus will build to some sort of a reboot. Perhaps a much more
"professional" company will rise from Chikara's ashes. We saw
the end of the Chikarmy which was modeled for a really small
company and it looks like the death of Dragon Dragon is putting
to rest a character that would never work anywhere else. Gone
are the days of Chikara booking characters in big fuzzy awkward
costumes. It has to be hard to perform in that suit so this way
they won't have to worry about it anymore. Dragon Dragon was
over with the fans but had it's complications. Also I imagine
newer fans wouldn't understand a character like that. I think it
would be harder for them to look past the costume and it's
       limitations.

The KBB show in NY the other weekend was PACKED from what I was
told by Gavin and several of the KBB folks. Since they don't
have many shows, the ones they DO end up having draw a very big
crowd. This last one was, from what they told me, a particularly
big turnout. (which is awesome to hear)
