i never bothered to think about who started this place. i
honestly thought it was djchrisx since he invited me which i
never said thank you for so thank you. i see the admin was not a
space monster. i never really got what his deal was but should
we have any worries he will nuke the forum? i mean he has not
yet so i am sure we are ok but i like this place and i would be
bummed if it got killed.

it was not me! I did create a backup forum in case this one got
"raided and shut down by Titor" like the first "safe place"
board did, and it seemed as if there were spies in the midst
here at first, but this has proven to be mostly safe, so I never
enabled Plan C, haha

If I remember correctly, it was a pretty hectic night.
-The Space Monster tweeted a pic of the steampunk mask
eventually found on Deviantart. The tweet was immediately
deleted and I may have been the only one who saw it. I saved a
pic of the mask that was tweeted but didn't think to grab a
screenshot of the tweet so I cannot prove this. The message in
the tweet was something about being betrayed by Conrad V. and a
promise to seek out the "Man of Lightning" to exact revenge.
-This tweet may have been precipitated by an earlier, similarly
immediately deleted tweet about the Space Monster having
nightmares about a man "covered in gold and lightning." I asked
about this directly after it had been deleted and the Space
Monster reacted as if it were a scared child.
-I mentioned this deleted tweet to the Space Monster and that
seems to have precipitated a series of tweets that dropped the
(I assume) intentionally flimsy pretense of being a "regular
human wrestling fan."
-Both DJ Chris and I had success with "playing along" with the
Space Monster; asking specific, pointed questions and had
success getting a response.
-Very close to the end if Aniversario (a night or two later, if
I remember correctly) I was alerted by DJ Chris on the 101 that
"asafeplace" had been set-up. The next day it was closed by WMD
with a very intimidating message telling us to go back to 101.
-There were even rumors on that 1st "safeplace" forum that I was
involved somehow. I still feel really bad that I have about 115
twitter followers if many of them were unintentionally mislead
into thinking I wasn't just some ordinary fan in Denver.
-Yet another create-a-forum was erected, only to be immediately
abandoned by Space Monster and eventually this was set-up.
-This place was originally mentioned on twitter by the Space
Monster as "TheUprising Lives!" and this was literally 3 or 4
create-a-forums that were created and abandoned within about 2
hours.
-Consequently, I made a "theUprisingLives" create-a-forum with a
(in retrospect) funny post about how it seemed "Space Monster"
had gone to bed and how we should (metaphorically) "circle the
wagons and start a fire" and camp there for the night. I think I
had one visitor before realizing I was not as clever as I
thought I was. The whole embarrassing, self-important post is
still there online, to my eternal and punishing regret.
-It is unusual that Space Monster has not posted once since
creating this forum...

one theory I have is that whatever (admittedly very clever) fan
is behind the Condor/Space Monster twitters and creating the
forums and "raiding and locking" them(I'm convinced it's all the
same person) is among us here and using all our speculation and
theorizing to continue to play their very involved troll game.
if in fact that is what it is. Sometimes I'm not so sure. I have
a couple theories, actually. I take everything they say with a
grain of salt, but still pay attention...just in case.

I can almost buy that the Space Monster twitter is unrelated to
the 2 OSSWE ones. Space Monster appeared the night of
Aniversario and the OSSWE ones didn't come up until a day or two
later. Though it would seem odd that Space Monster reacted to
the OSSWE accounts' tweets if Space Monster is "official" and it
would've theoretically known that the OSSWE accounts were
fraudulent.
But yeah, even if they're all trolls, it would've been
frustrating if there had just been complete silence after
Aniversario and the only further developments were the 101
auction and Anton's antics briefly, and then all the wrestlers
acting like it was over with no explanation and basically
nothing until Icarus last weekend, which I don't think was meant
to be taken as uplifting. Like, it was just Icarus and Billy
asking about 20-30 people to sign a petition, which he is
presumably going to send to Titor/WMD. But how often in real
life do petitions sent to giant faceless multinational
corporations make any difference?
