more late night (or is it early morning?) revelations...

ok, so it's 6:15am, I have not slept yet, and naturally I'm deep
down the rabbit hole again, as usual. Something just hit me.
I really think Archie is pulling the strings here. We all
remember the "not a Space Monster" twitter account that most of
us have at this point discounted as a fan created troll, but
some theorize that, along with the original CondorOSSWE twitter,
may be legitimate, but some sort of cointelpro or resistance
under the guise of the enemy. Some have gone so far as to say
Quack is behind it, somehow trying to undermine Condor/Titor by
posing as them and feeding us clues through anagrams and cryptic
messages, etc. I don't know how I feel about those theories, but
I have still been keeping a close eye on them(though taking it
all with copious amounts of salt), you know, just in case.
Anyway, we remember Archie's pre TWGP promo where he recited
from the Ozymandias poem. Much was made of the Ozymandias
reference, due to the underlying Watchmen parallels going on in
Chikaratown this season. We theorized as to what it could mean,
and what Archie was trying to tell us, or was it just a clever,
relevant reference?
What if Archie is the "Ozymandias" of the ongoing Chikara story?
What if he is the villain here, playing puppetmaster to
everyone? (us fans included) Remember in the Watchmen comic,
Ozymandias sent A GIANT SPACE MONSTER to destroy the Earth to
further his agenda. Is the "space monster" twitter Archie, or is
it who he says he is and has been sent by Archie? better yet, is
Titor/Condor the proverbial monster sent to destroy the world
(Chikara) to further his (as yet unrevealed) agenda?
Maybe my lack of sleep is pushing my brain in directions it
shouldn't be going in, but...what if?
Some of this seemed a lot more prophetic when it first came to
me, and it's possible that while articulating it in my
sleep-starved state, I forgot one of my original points and this
didn't come across as I intended.
I dunno. Thoughts?

I think Archie's in on it, but as a red herring - a
distraction.I think he's too directly involved to be Ozy. Ozy
creates the plan, figures in all the eventualities, and puts the
players into position, but when the monster appears, he's
sequestered away, content to watch from a distance. He's just
happy his plan appeared to have worked. To him, the world is
everything and so important, so worthy of protection that he
will sacrifice anything to save it. He doesn't try to escape,
find a new planet, or anything like that.
I think the one person who would do anything to protect Chikara
would be Quack. But he knows no one can fight a corporation. So,
he decided not to try. The only other option was to kill it and
start over. It seems counterintuitive - killing the thing you
love to save it, but honestly, Chikara didn't seem like Chikara
anymore, thanks to Titor/WMD/Wink. But now, it can restart and
we can bring the spirit of Chikara back. I think that's what
Icarus is trying to do. (He's also probably in on the plan.)
(By the way, when I talk about Quack, it's almost always in a
kayfabe sense.)

I spent the last 2 days reading Watchmen. Needless to say, my
eyes hurt. But some things stuck out to me.
As I look into the way everything has been done with the keynote
players (Quack, Kingston, Icarus, Archie, Donst, Wink) I was hit
with a revelation myself. We've speculated how Icarus really
didn't chance much of what he normally did, minus helping Sugar
and then finally covering his tattoo at the last show. Reminded
me a lot of Roarschach. (Regardless of whether this has been
spoken of before, I'm that tired, I'm on little to no sleep, and
eat me :-) ) Wink, as Babs and I have spoken about before, was a
red herring for Archie. It's my belief that he is the head up
behind everything. Quack, for me, is like Nite Owl, even going
as far as retiring away to save himself, but finally stepping
up, but only when it's too late. Kingston, well, Kingston is
our Comedian. Careless, reckless, devastating, and only at the
end finding solace until he uncovered the truth. Why would
Wink target Kingston? Simple, because Archie lost his first
match to Kingston and knew he couldn't beat him. Remember how
Donst said, "Imagine an unhinged Kingston?" Well, we've seen
it, to an extent, slowly over time.
Some other things I noticed in the graphic novel was the John
Titor symbol. It's near the end when Jon and Adrian are talking
after Roarschach was obliterated. Even in the face of everyone
else giving up, Roarschach refused to compromise while everyone
else was ready to just give it all up.
It's my belief that come July 20th when Icarus comes to Easton,
whoever is truly running this whole thing is going to try and
obliterate him, while all the other heroes go under different
guises and either go back into hiding, or finally step up out of
surprise.
No amount of coffee in the world could save me right now.

Mervyn, that is brilliant. Kingston as the comedian is
something I hadn't thought of.
