Who Is This Dead Man? LBPD Reconstructs Face Of Beating/Arson
Victim. Asks Public's Help to Identify Him
  HTML https://i.imgur.com/WeNXRf9l.jpg

(May 9, 2002) -- LBPD now calls him "John Doe #213." They
discovered his body, burned beyond recognition, inside the
burned ruins of an abandoned home at 329 E. Louise. They believe
he suffered blunt force trauma to his head before the building
was set on fire on September 29, 2001.
But police don't know who he is...and didn't know what he looked
       like until now.
Victim sketch 2With the victim's body badly charred and his
identity unknown, LBPD sought assistance from a forensic artist
who used the victim's skull to reconstruct what he may have
       looked like before his death.
Victim sketch 3Police now ask the public's help in identifying
him. He may be of mixed race heritage, roughly 23-35 years old,
4'11" to 5'3" tall, 100 pounds. He is described as wearing an
earring in his left ear with both a red ad green stone in the
       fitting.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call
Homicide Detectives Steven Smith, Hector Nieves or Scott Lasch
       at (562) 570-7244,
