Sheridan Jane Doe was found in the south bound barrow ditch on
the West side if Interstate 90. DNA linked her to the killer of
"Bitter Creek Betty," who was killed around the same time as
this victim.

Circumstances of Discovery
The victim's remains were located in a ditch near mile post 5 on
the west side of Interstate 90, approximately five miles south
of the Wyoming/Montana border.
It is believed the victim was murdered at another location and
dumped at the discovery site.
DNA evidence obtained from the victim matches DNA evidence from
213UFWY.

Sheridan County Jane Doe
Sheridan County Jane Doe was a young woman found murdered in
1992. DNA linked her to the killer of "Bitter Creek Betty," who
was killed around the same time as this victim. She was found
along Interstate 90.
The victim had brown hair that was shoulder-length and wavy. It
appeared to have bee sun-bleached, indicating she spent time
outdoors.
The victim wore a blue and white checked "midriff" shirt that
was fastened midway across her abdomen. It had "false jewel" and
pearl buttons.
She wore blue jeans.
A light-blue bra (38C)
A white plastic belt
Nylon paisley blue panties.

Reconstruction of the Sheridan County Jane Doe
A female aged sixteen to twenty-one was discovered murdered on
April 13, 1992 in Sheridan County, Wyoming. DNA from the scene
was eventually matched to that found at the site of Bitter Creek
Betty's body. Unlike the previous victim, this Jane Doe was too
decomposed to identify visually and her eye color could not be
determined. The cause of her death was ruled as blunt injuries
to the head. She was white, five feet five to five feet six
inches tall, 110 to 115 pounds and had brown hair with a wavy
texture. It is believed that she was killed at a different area
than where her body was discovered. The victim's clothing
consisted of a patterned white and light blue top that had ties
underneath the bust, with pearl and jewel-like buttons. The
female also wore a bra, blue jeans, pink underwear and brass
earrings.
