The remains of Jane Doe were discovered May 2nd, 1996 in an
undeveloped part of southwestern Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jane
was discovered in a vacant field west of I-25 near 98th and
Tower Road, wrapped in six dark green or black garbage bags. The
outer bag was tied with green electrical wire with a
copper-colored core and tied around the legs with rope. She is
thought to have been between the ages of 14 and 25 when she was
murdered. Investigators found evidence of blunt force trauma to
Jane that included broken facial bones and a broken tibia,
skull, and fibula. Jane had likely been dead for 2-10 weeks
before being discovered and her body was found at an advanced
state of decomposition."
