       SHARKEY COUNTY CHILD DOE: M, 5-7 - Cranium found at Sharkey Issa

       A cranium of a small child was discovered at the Sharkey
       Issaquena County line. The cranium was found by Ricky Hayes, an
       employee of Duett Hack Hole Services. Deputy Carolyn Tillis was
       dispatched to the scene along with the Sharkey County Coroner
       Angelia Eason to retrieve the skull. The cranium was sent to the
       Mississippi State Medical Examiners Office and was then sent to
       Dr. Nicholas Herrmann of Mississippi State University for
       anthropological analysis. A follow-up survey will be conducted
       to search for additional remains; no date set.

       An employee of Duett Hack Hole Services found the cranium of a

       MBI seeking public's help to identify child
       SHARKEY COUNTY, Miss. — The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation
       is seeking the public’s assistance with information leading to
       the identity of a child.
       On January 8, 2014, the remains of a young boy were found in
       Sharkey County, Mississippi, according to Captain Johnny Poulos.
       The child was found on the east side of the county. He was 5 to
       7 years old at the time of death.
       A NCMEC Forensic Artist created two images depicting what the
       child may have looked like in 2014.
       This case was initially investigated by the Sharkey County
       Sheriff’s Department and has now been turned over to MBI.
       If anyone has information regarding this case, please contact
       the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation/Mississippi Highway
       Patrol at 601-987-1530 or the Mississippi Crime Stoppers at
